Thanks Adam, totally agree with you! Zhou Shen's a music magician and treasure boy! He's such a humble, funny and cute man of 30 that ppl always joke with him saying he's only 3yrs old, so pure and warm hearted! But talking about music, he's seriously a professional giant on stage! Maybe it's because of his talents, passion for singing, great manner as well as the past difficulties he's gone through till now. The more we listen to him and the more we know about his past and thinking, the more we love him and feel so blessed to have Zhou Shen, an angel, in our same era! Appreciate, love and respect him💖 💖 💖

Andy was written for the older male singer in the audience by his mentor who discovered him. Andy is his Christian name. Zhou Shen added the rap just before the last rehearsal. This programme revolves around a group of singers and each episode has an "episode host" (while ZS is the overall host). All the singers on the episode will choose a song from the episode host's repertoire and give it their own rendition. Thus we get new renditions of old classics!

He didn't elevate the rock is because of how he wanted to express the song, he never over sing anything, the beauty of him is he is able to drive his unique jet of feeling and emotions to people who listen, via his techniques. He is a music magician🎉

Zhou Shen always amazing. You might want to check out his work on the Treasured Voices Season 3 where he performs duets. His duet with Liu Feng Yao as well as his duet with Han Yanbin are more rock like and worth a listen.

In this 2022 Episode 6 variety show, Concert 2, ZS was re-interpreting this song Andy by composer VIP Andy Ah Do (the Singaporean gentleman sitting right in the center) who wrote it for his wife who has been with him thru thick and thin. Everyone there are singers of different generations. For this episode, everyone chooses a song by Andy, reinterprets and sings it for him. ZS is an indirect host to move the show along.. Turns out composer-singer Andy loves it! Therefore ZS cannot do it the way you wanted, to respect the original intent of the composer.
