I have been searching for a word that could adequately describe Angelina and her talent. The best one I can come up with is 'exquisite'. I think it applies both to her personally and to her monumental musical gift. She is exquisitely beautiful in face and spirit, and her voice is also.

Nobody does "At Last" like Angelina. The way she takes her time with it. The way she puts all the little inflections in there. She even has the perfect accent on some of the words. She did have a little hoarseness in her voice in this one (perhaps still recovering from that same little cold), but it somehow adds to it for me. I always like how she doesn't have to do anything big to show off. She just comes out there and delivers the song like she hears it in her head. And she seems to hear things like nobody else. And when you stop to think all of that is being said about an 8 year old..... this girl was born to sing.

I love Angelina! Her voice is unique. But there is something special, what makes her songs so amazing. At any age but especially at that age of EIGHT: did you ever hear such a soul and passion in a voice? That´s nothing you can learn with a vocal coach. Angelina must have listened more than 50 years to all the old souls. Maybe her voice still is not at the top, but she gets better and better with every song. And I can´t wait to join her in this journey. Angelina should never be packed in a label. She deserves more. She IS more! I loved all her jazzy songs (b.t.w.: why didn´t you react on her song "I´m still holding out for you"?). And then I was astonished, when I saw her in Alan Walker´s concert in Bergen. Like a pro - at the age of 12 !!! Furthermore - I could not believe it - she can even make Whitney Houston songs her own. And now she did "Above the water"!!! Normally that´s not my genre, but I have to admit that she is great there! Is there anything Angelina can't do? Even if there is something: I admire her courage to climb every new peak, curious, with passion and always humble. Lord, what a difference a day with Angelina makes... Meanwhile I again and again listen to her jazz songs .

Is there anything Angelina can't do? I would dearly love to hear her do "Stardust" composed by Hoagy Carmichael with lyrics by Mitchell Parish. Because of his unique phrasing, Willie Nelson sings my favorite version. I cannot imagine what treatment Angelina would give to this great 1927 song. I wish there were a way to send requests to Angelina but I understand she would be overloaded in a heartbeat.

Good morning, this is going to be off topic, I don't know how far a reactor can go about putting a singer down, I watched about 3 videos of I will tell you Angelina Jordan, well he put her down so bad I could not believe it especially two songs she wrote and he went on and on about how she smiles while she's singing you know that little smile, it's one thing saying he did not like the song but I feel he trashed her down, now I don't know what the rules are of reactors but that was pretty bad!❗💜

This is another charity function (she does many), but not the same as the "I'll Be There" one. But it's in the same time frame, so the raspiness (more than her usual vocal fry) is probably from the same cold she was experiencing. But somehow it seems to add to the "flavor" of the tone; almost perfect for this song. According to the time this video was posted, she would be 9 here. This song is perfect for her voice, and she sings it so beautifully. Thanks for another great reaction to Angelina. 😊💕

Again, she is singer for a charity function, which she has done so many times. Some people might interpret the cracks, hoarseness, vocal fry, etc., as diminishing the performance. To me, it makes it even better. I'm not sure if she was still in that same sickness mode as the "I'll Be There" performance (which I also love), and it doesn't matter. I've gone back and listened to this performance many times, and it gets a 10 from me also ML. To think that when she's all grown up and becomes the superstar that she deserves to be, the world will have all these incredible performances to experience the journey of this phenomenal prodigy. This version of the song is by Etta James (!) from 1960 and for me, in this recording Angelina, at 9 years of age, makes one of her most beautiful interpretations, which is absolutely not out of place with the original, on the contrary, so full of emotion and vocal warmth to leave completely amazed and enraptured. Furthermore, the scenography, with those large images, places her so small in the focal center and helps wonderfully to believe that she floats on her voice, this time too, as he has done many times, he sings in a charity show, just like the other you reacted to (of which I honestly didn't appreciate the superficiality of your reaction) for the Swedish heroes. The setting is similar and Angelina's passion and voice is the same, only this time she was fine ... You should know Angelina enough now, after so many Maunalee reactions, you shouldn't expect her to sing like the models she uses as inspiration, every time she interprets the song for what she believes is the right key to the reading, for the situation and for the his ideas, otherwise she would never have been able to realize that wonder that is her version of Bohemian Rhapsody and of many other mythical songs. She rereads them and almost always does so in a fantastic way, but it's hers! It cannot be asked that she simply imitate, she recreates and knows how to do it very well, despite her age

This was my first watch of this, too. I agree it was beautiful. What I love is not per se the notion of her making a song her own, but rather her exploring other aspects of it. (I recall Amy Winehouse doing that with "Will you still love me tomorrow" and it is so rewarding)

It was fabulous. Just as I’ll be there was. Why won’t you admit you were wrong on that song? Or give it another listen please. It’s in a more somber key than the original. Please. The video has over 1400 likes and only 40 dislikes. Don’t be one of those. The context of the song was explained in many of the comments on your reaction. Watch it again judge the Angelinas emotional performance. My untrained ear thought it heard off notes in this song but that didn’t take away from me loving it. And I’m very sorry to hear about your dog. They are like family

I agree. “I’ll be there” was at an event to celebrate local heroes, and Angelina sang for a girl who conquered severe bullying to become an advocate for the victims. This one was for Plan Norway, an organization that recruits personal sponsors for poor children. Angelina wouldn’t cancel these performances even if she had to be carried on stage.

But my problem with your reaction was that you were critical of a kid. You want to roast an adult singer, that’s your right. It’s okay to just not like the song. I don’t like every song Angelina sings. But not because she sang it badly. Just don’t like the song. Just imagine Charlotte as my student in a few years and she came home from school and told you I told her she read poorly out loud in front of the class. You’d be up at the school before I left wanting to kick my butt. And I would deserve it. Lol
