I don’t know what it is about her voice. Just about any song she sings makes me cry a good cry. Not many things in life does this to me . My heart is somehow in line with the tone of her voice. The sound of her voice is so soothing and hypnotic that my mind goes to places in my past. Some memories are sorrowful and painful and just by listening to her angelic voice some how makes everything better and replaces them with joy and happiness. Voices like this only come once in a life time. God Bless You Angelina Jordan! Thank you for precious gift you have given the world with your songs.

I'm a big fan of Adele; she is a great singer and song writer. This was a big hit for her, and one of my favorites. Then I heard Angelina's cover, and was like WTF. If you close your eyes from start to finish, the emotional impact is simply unreal. I cry with my eyes closed. Angelina can drag you into her emotions while she's singing. While I love pretty much everything she sings, and I think her voice is over the moon, it's that emotional draw that separates her from other great singers. And she does it time and time again. Yup - this is the crown jewel of Angelina covers, I'm glad you finally got to it. Her vocal talents are in full display in this song, and the emotional impact is overwhelming. i should add...I left my home & friends/family/community of 8 years (in Maine) to care for her (in Ohio), and now am living in my childhood home. So, holy heck, the lyrics are so spot on. "i miss the air, I miss my friends, I miss my mother I miss it when"..."When I walk around all of the streets Where I grew up and found my feet"...and sung in angelina's emotional, old soul, otherworldly voice

I never knew this Adele song existed either till I saw Angelina’s cover then I saw Adele’s version and as good as Adele is Angelina in my opinion blows her away. So much more emotion which is crazy since she’s so young with not enough life experience to be able to sing this song as if she’s lived it. It’s crazy. Glad you’re feeling a little better. A loss of a good friend (human or canine) is hard, very hard. Just remember that you gave your dog years of love and comfort and he or she was very lucky to have you as it’s friend. 🙏🙏🙏

This is one of the most requested Angelina videos for good reason. Just a 12 year old in her room.... out-singing one of the highest rated voices of current times. Angelina's cover of this song is just one more example of how she can convey the original intent of a song even better than the original artist. She can really make you feel the words. BTW: The guitar man is Ivan Mendez. Angelina does some really great work with him. You will be seeing him many times. If you see him in the thumbnail of a video, it's a winner ;)

Aside from all the other things that make Angelina my favorite singer, I believe she is the best interpreter of lyrics I’ve heard. I’m surprised you haven’t heard this song. It’s an Adele song. Nobody writes a story within a song like Adele. I love Angelina's version of this and I think along with always on my mind is her best cover. I am not going to compare her to Adele as thats unfair on both of them, but you should listen to Adele sing this, its one of Adele's best songs. Love your reactions

Thanks for your new reaction, Maunalee. One of the 2014 NGT judges said of Angelina, after her first song, "you are the music", and for me it is probably the simplest and most true definition that can be given of Angelina. For this reason she changes every song and changes her way of interpreting it, her voice is simply the instrument that she uses, in an impossible way, to transmit to her listeners her emotions and the slower and slower she does it, the more it upsets your soul. In this song, in my own opinion by comparing the two versions, she is decidedly more emotional and profound, with tones in a wider range than Adele and she is reading while singing ... 😍 😍

I love your channel, which I found because I absolutely love Angelina Jordan. Every song I've heard her sing is just so amazing. I completely understand about your doggie and I know how hard it is. I've lost 3 of my dogs since October of 2018. They were all around the same age and then when they get older and start having medical problems. 2 of them were just this year in January and then in March. The sadness does get better but there are days where it still overwhelms me and I cry because I miss them so much. I do feel blessed that I had them for all of there lives. They were all over 12 years old. I only have one left from my pack of 4 and he is 14. I feel sad for him because I know he has to miss them and wonder where they are. On a lighter note, I love watching your videos and I think I've watched all of the Angelina Jordan reactions. You have a great personality and you remind me so much of my PA at my doctors office. She has the same bright personality as you and is always smiling.

What seems to get lost in the shuffle is that we have a LITTLE GIRL who does these covers on fabulous performers who are legendary in their own right. At 7 she sounds just like Billie Holiday (Gloomy Sunday), and then can go 'toe to toe' with voices like Whitney, Amy, Adele, Freddie and arouse our inner being beyond belief. Taking everything into account, as to what she has already achieved before even reaching 15 years of age, places her in a class of her own.

A not well known Adelle song that Angelina gave new life, one of my favorites of Angelina. I think one reason Angelina can give such emotion to this song it is around this time she started to see the sacrifices her family makes for her choice of wanting to be a singer, within the next year she writes her song "Shield" in which is written to her family and in it she sings "Forgive me for what I am". Even though Angelina is a very happy child and fun and funny. She has a sence of empathy that is extraodinary for her age. I am so sorry for your loss, I had a boxer growing up his name was Duke, they are great dogs.

That comparison does favor Angelina's version BUT that must have been an off day for Adel and her crew/sound/band guys. Adel is not that shrill.(although Angelina does sing much much lower than Adel, which suits this song, IMHO.)

Adele has a very pure voice. Very pretty and clear to listen to. Angelina’s voice has a resonance to it that fills you inside. You somehow feel the song more than hear the song. Might not be that way for others but that is what I feel. Kind of reminds me of Louise Armstrong singing What A Wonderful World. Vs anyone else. It just touches you inside.
