I agree with you about the comforting feeling. She's earthy, grounded, when she sings, I feel a knot in my stomach relax and I wasn't aware I was tense. She has that affect on everyone. She doesn't act or project, she brings you to her, she doesn't go out and get you. She slows keyed up listeners down and grounds them. A very healing vibration.

Angelina Jordan plays piano, violin, flute and some guitar in addition to singing. She makes music herself and paints in her spare time . Seems like she is a multi talented prodigy ! Nice reaction !

I feel the same as you. She's is amazing. You must watch her when she sings. She's got her heart outside her body, and she's singing with both her heart and her voice. You can feel the connection instantly. Listen to her is like meditation, you can't get away.

Followed Angelina from day. Everything she sings is pure magic. Gladys Knight, Roberta Flack , Billie Holiday, Elvis Presley, Freddie Mercury etc, etc ... she does them and she does them as good if not better than the originals. Quite possibly the best vocalist alive today. These voice guitar sets suit her perfectly. Thankfully she is not as scatty as Grace Vanderwaal and some of the others of around her age.

Hello, great reaction. Angelina is in Los Angeles (the family lives there at the moment) and composes new songs, and two of them will be on a CD released now in May! The album is recorded together with the Norwegian Defense Staff Corps. A professional corps. There are songs that are sung by Billie Holliday (Im a Fool to Want You), Ella Fitzgerald (Cry Me a River), Bobby Vinton (Mr. Lonely), James Brown (It's a Mans World), Tom Jones (Its Magic), Charles Aznavour (La Boheme) Frank Sinatra (Fly Me to the Moon), Elvis Presley (Can not Help falling in love with You), Patsy Cline (Crazy) and Andy Williams (Speak Softly Love) on the album. Angelina has also written two own songs on this album! The songs I've questioned are something I just guess will be included on the album. She will hold a concert in Oslo on June 16th. There are still tickets avilable. She and her family have said no to many of the offers she has received. Ex. No to a deal with Atlantic Records, no to sing for Donald Trump ...Remember she is only 12, so her family want her to finish school and to have a normal life as possible.

So, basically all the information about Angelina's new album titled "It's Magic" is posted here already. Her previous album, "The EP", was published on her own label, Angelina Jordan Records, last fall and is still available on her official site. It contains her songs recorded in 2014-2015 for her fist CD that was not released that time, as well as her Back To Black cover that was recorded in 2016. Angelina used to attend Oslo Waldorf school and Oslo School of Music and Performing Art, also learning with a private teacher while performing. I don't know how her education goes now, though. I believe they left for LA especially to improve Angelina's vocal training, and some results can be clearly heard on her most recent videos (thanks to her new equipment as well of course).

My suggestion for you to react (not to compare, there’s space on the top for both singers and for many more) is Patricia Janeckova. She won the Check and Slovak got talent at age 13th with a fabulous interpretation os “Once upon a time in the west”. Almost 20 now she decided already for opera. I think it was the correct choice but of course limits her visibility and attention from many. Her interpretations in Ostrava three years ago, specially “Meine lippen”, are unforgettable. She may become the best opera singer since Calas
