The lyrics of this are some of my favorite. RM wrote this right after waking/recovery from some out patient surgery. He wrote it with V singing it in mind. The chokehold this song had in me when I first discovered it, especially the live stage. V is beyond captivating taking this up a level in intensity in the lives. All the Love Yourself era solos are. This album has my favorite rapline song: Tear.

No one else can sing and perform this song better. It is perfectly and uniquely made for him. This is why he is called the Idol of Idols, the king of the stage, and the diamond voice of Korea. You should see the live performances. It’s funny that many reactors say it’s a baby making song. If you haven’t reacted to Stigma by V then I strongly recommend it. This song was created by RM when he was released from the hospital after his surgery. While its true Namjoon wrote the song created it. Teahyung aka V gave life to it. Truly a beautiful song

Singularity is a beautiful song, the lyrics reflect themes of self-knowledge, loss, and reflection on one's own identity. The use of metaphors such as a frozen lake and the sound of something breaking, suggests an internal breakup or an awakening to a painful reality. This song made me a fan of him and for this song I give bts a chance. He vibe with jazz, r&b and neo soul like Singularity. The video, the lyrics (write by RM), the production, the fact that the voice is the center of the song. You listen to little instrumental that accompany his voice witch is the main instrument of the song. But the dance follow the other instruments, that's why is fascinating to see. You need to watch it live.

To this day its my favourite V Song, its so closely related to him. For the longest time he struggled to be Kim Taehyung (when off stage) & V (onstage) he always felt these were two different people which wasn't what he wished for, he wanted to be the same person he is with BTS just like with ARMYs. Many times he couldn't express himself when on stage due to the overwhelming fame of V. Its all explained in their book *Beyond The Story* .

This is an amazing album, critically acclaimed everywhere. If you listen to the songs in order they tell a story and every track is fire, I am not exaggerating! The LY trilogy is finding love (HER), losing love (TEAR) and then realising you have to love yourself (ANSWER). Most of my favourite BTS tracks are B sides, there are no music videos for these so you have to do a lyric video. I hope you get around to those tracks. As an example you should listen to '134340'. Only BTS could make a track about Pluto losing it's planet status as a metaphor for losing love!!💜

Guys, I've been watching and enjoying BTS since 2015. I also love watching the reactions of people from all over the world to BTS songs. Now I looked at all your reactions for 7 months and was upset. Because you can't watch BTS just a video clip or a studio recording or a concert recording. These are three big differences. Connoisseurs of their work, when reacting, first watch the video clip, then a separate recording of the choreography, and at the end - a concert recording. The studio recording, if you are aware, is being tightened up, corrected, mixed, etc. And at a concert there are emotions, drive, improvisations. And some connoisseurs also carefully analyze the lyrics of the song with explanations of idioms, phraseological units, and cultural references. All this is on the Internet. Very glad you guys enjoyed the song & MV. The "Fake Love" MV is part of the BU storyline so you may see familiar things from the I Need U MV and the Wings Short films. The way you know ahead of time if the MV is part of storyline is to scroll down the description box if you see "BU content certified by Big Hit Entertainment" it's part of the storyline. I don't know how I forgot JK's solo song MV "Euphoria" but apparently it came out before V's solo song but after Mic Drop MV. It's titled "Euphoria: Theme of Love Yourself" so I think that's why it slipped past me cuz it's not titled a comeback trailer. The song is great so I'm sad I mixed that up, imo if you watch after "Fake Love" but before Jin's solo song "Epiphany" it should be okay. "Euphoria" MV is also is BU storyline, it has a 3 min intro montage before the song actually starts in the MV. The montage is pure storyline stuff so don't be worried if your completely confused by it, I feel that is just the natural state of the storyline being confused lol. But you also aren't doing a deep dive into storyline yet so there is info from the Notes Books, Other short Films, & the Save Me Webtoon that you haven't seen yet so there is a lot of context missing. I was in the same boat the first time I watched "Euphoria" but was still able to enjoy the imagery even if I didn't know what was going on lol.

keep in mind these songs tell a story in order! so compared to serendipity which was all about meeting someone and it feeling like they were meant to be together and being so infatuated with each other, this one is later in the relationship where they start questioning if they’ve lost themselves in the process and if what they sacrificed in order to love this person was even worth it “have i lost myself or gained you?”
