The venue is an actual ancient Roman amphitheater that was excavated a while ago, and is almost perfectly preserved. It is regularly used for concerts. The city of Plovdiv itself was found by Phillip the father of Alexander the Great.

Yep. Not bad. Not bad at all. But... This version highlights just how much of singer AND guitar god Dave Gilmour was. While the solo was good, Dave's is simply on another level insofar as it's ability to illicit such emotion. In particular, the pulse show from '96, or was it '94?

When Pink Floyd sings it, it brings tears to my eyes. This doesn't do it for me. Vocals and guitars are trying too hard and failing.
