The spaceship in the series 5 episode the lodger with James cordon is the same ship as in this two parter. It was empty in series 5 looking for a pilot because all of the silence had been wiped out in 1969. In this episode right here

I still think the time engines were how they blew the Tardis up in S5. A malfunctioning one almost destroyed it in The Lodger, so if they weaponised one, it's not much of a stretch to say it wouldn't be capable of drawing the Tardis to Amy's time/home and destroying it.

This is a great 2 part start. So much happens & we learn so much, but still don't know what's going on. And River's story continues to be tragic from her perspective & Alex Kingston does such an amazing job with the role.

Just double checking.. in your description it says not to discuss spoilers PAST S14 E9 (I refuse to go by the reset numbering.) So you are now caught up.. and we can discuss everything? Or are we not discussing "spoilers" for the audience who is watching reactions, instead of the actual episodes like they should? (disapproving parental look) THEN watching reactions about those episodes.
