The Oak Ridge Boys are legendary (rest in peace Joe). Home Free has another collaboration with them of "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" that just jaw-dropping. They're the perfect collaborators, always respectful to the original song and ensuring the guest(s) have the limelight. They've also sung with Alabama, Lee Greenwood and Don McLean (twice).

This is a great collaboration between Home Free & The Oak Ridge Boys. "Elvira" was a huge hit for The Oakridge Boys in 1981. You can see the great respect these 2 groups have for each other. The Oakridge Boys are mentors to Home Free & it is like they are passing the baton to a younger version of themselves. They have performed together on the Grand Ole Opry. Adam Rupp's vocal percussion is the best in the business. He can simulate drums & any other sounds perfectly. Home Free is my favorite a cappella group. They are so talented yet very humble guys.

When they sing this live, the audience all sing it with them. Except for the parts where Tim goes into the basement. 🎶🥰

They still do this one at their concerts, it is a blast! When Tim hits those low notes your feet vibrate! Great reaction!

Austin got that shirt when he was a teenager and went to an Oaks concert and having them sign it was a dream come true for him. If you watch any of his stuff filmed in his house, you'll see it hangs on his wall, something he cherishes. The Oaks are their inspiration and you can see how much the ORB guys admire the generation after them, they are like proud papas to them. Their other collaboration is a Christmas song Beautiful Star of Bethlehem and Austin is hitting notes and the ORB's are patting him and giving him looks like damn boy, you are that good!

So much fun! Home Free always does great collaborations. When live, Tim (bass of HF) loves to have fun with the audience on this song. He goes really low. Tim has been known to break speakers (usually with singing Your Man). Love the Oak Ridge boys. They did a Christmas song with them too. Good reaction boys!

It works so well because the Oak Ridge Boys were natural musicians in their own right - singing acapella was no big deal for them. No auto-tune necessary for either of these groups!
