I’m a HUGE fan of Journey...Steve Perry years for me. Winds of March is just amazing. The Cromisky Park 1979 live recording of this song is my absolute favorite. Steve’s vocals are insanely incredible. This song has it all for me. It embodies all the elements of Journey in one song. It’s everything I love about this band. Infinity and Evolution are my favorite albums. Been a forever fan since 1981. Saw them live during the Frontiers Tour in 1983. Wonderful memories come flooding back. Timeless music for sure.

I saw the Winds of March thumbnail at the end of the last Rush vid. I said Wow! He’s doing Journey too? This song is great especially when it picks up the pace. Journey’s single word title albums are great after this one.

If you want to hear some really good early Journey where they were more of a progressive band then any tune from their self-titled album, Look Into The Future and Next are fantastic. Neal Schon on guitar, Greg Rollie on keyboards and vocals, Ross Valory on bass and Ainsley Dunbar on drums made up one of the best bands in the mid to later '70s. They changed their sound and hired Steve Perry in 1977 and, oh well, the rest is history

I saw Journey at the Grand Slam Jam at the Milwaukee County Stadium in 1978. They opened the show and were followed by Cheap Trick, Heart and the headliner, Ted Nugent!! All for $12.50! 'Infinity' is the best album (IMHO) of the Steve Perry era. The entire record is fantastic!! ✌🎸🎤🎹🥁

I think until Greg Rollie left they were very good. But those first Journey albums were special.

TY, Justin. Infinity is a great. Greg Rollie on keys, was lead vocals before Perry. He and Neil Schon(guitar) were with Santana before starting Journey.

I know most people love the Steve Perry years but I absolutely love the first Journey album the most. The musicianship really shines on that album. Definitely not the Journey sound most people know but its awesome. Of a Lifetime....great song.

I was going to suggest Of A Lifetime, it's agreat song.Greg Rollie was fantastic on keys & vocals. The duets on like Feeling That Way/ Anytime are my favorite Journey tunes.

I don't think I've heard this song before. Should be interesting. Oh, ok, I have heard it as I did listen to this album. After listening to a lot of Rush this drumming in this song is like sleepytime to me. When you go off and do something else then maybe the other song you're trying to think of will pop in your head. I'm familiar with that experience. :)

Check out Of A Lifetime. It’s the first song off of their first album. Long before Steve Perry when they played way more progressive, heavier music. The first 3 albums are why I can’t listen to Journey after they got Steve. He’s great, but he totally changed the band.

Of A Lifetime, is a great song. My favorite of the few I know from the albums pre- Steve Perry.
