as a georgian i always get a little (or VERY) embarrassed when i see someone else watch the ''unoffically unproffessional' dub of my language. so back in the day we had some movies like Eurotrip, Mask of zorro, accepted and Goal:The dream begins (which in my country is dubbed 'Shtanga goli'' which means barbell goal were dubbed in their own humorous and Georgian way (in some cases in Goal their country cities are canonically named instead of the ones in the movie or how some characters have georgian names with their own accents :P) which were dubbed as an ''adaptation'' of sorts, (Zorro, Goal) think of it like Fandubs, where the film is pretty much the same but with a different context (well, Georgian type but still) this happened in the mid-2000s era, which nowadays isn't the case anymore. in Animated movies this is no different, while some dubs aren't exactly internationally approved at least we Georgians agree that some dubs back then were pretty good unironally or not (i.e The Incredibles - the wheres my supersuit dub is iconic, Madagascar, Cars, etc.) while i can happily revisit them it will feel odd how the characters sound different compared to the actual English version (you have to hear how Mater from Cars sounds in Georgian its hilarious XD, his name is Merabi in Georgian) plus some female characters in certain movies are voiced by males (most specifically Misha Andguladze who voices Gloria in Madagascar and Ellie from Ice Age 2 since he's known for portraying ''female'' characters in real life Saturday Show/Comedy Show in Georgia) and yes the greatcouncil woman in L&S is voiced by a male (dont ask why, even i found that weird) last year or two ''Pirveli Arxi'' bought the rights to dub 20+ Disney films that ISN'T OVERDUBBED and their voices isn't the only things you hear (they even had properly dubbed songs which are great!)...though some films they picked were either a tv movie (Clone Wars) or Blue Sky movies - (5 Ice Age Movies, Epic, Peanuts Movie) there was a big controversy last(?) year when Disney released their Wish song multilanguage video and when it got to Georgian part all they showed was the ''hayhayaaaa'' part and that made SO many Georgians angry. apologizes for my lengthy comment, just wanted to make sure that the stuff i knew i thought was at least worth mentioning, keep up the good work!

also the version you watched was the voice-over one, not a ''Fandub''-type one. (Pirvel Arxi dub is WAY better i'll tell you that)

Ah okay that makes a lot of sense I was a bit confused with the whole voice over thing that they did but I believe that they're definitely some good dubbing out there its just a shame a lot of the videos don't show it sometimes

@@CyrilNation yeah, there aren't really that many that showcases these types of dubs (well except for Cars and maybe Madagascar) but still. some movies have like more than 2 or 3 versions for certain movies (for TV) and almost none of them accomplishes to be good, sure some are serviceable to us but still.

While the movie (Lilo and Stitch) was NOT dubbed in Croatian, the show however WAS dubbed in Croatian Which as a Croat I kind of find stupid since Croatia ALMOST dubs everything Disney related but not the movie of this for whatever reason (Yes, Lilo and Stitch actully has a show/series lol)
