Wheein is actually one the best dancers in kpop, she dances like a pro dancer but people don't talk about it much because her voice is also so good. There's something that the fans always say about wheein when she dances, it's something like "Wheein's voice should apologize to her dancing skills."

Moonbyul is the highest credited female rapper in Kpop. She writes all her rap verses. What I like about Moonbyul's rapping is that it's not just in one style, she makes sure to suit it to the song genre too.

Moonbyul is so charismatic and it comes across so strongly in her rap and stage presence. When she was required to become a rapper to join the group, she took those lemons and turned them in to the most incredible lemonade ever made.

Something many people fail to mention when requesting Immortal Songs is that it's a competition where professional singers compete singing "classic" songs that the majority of the Korean audience will know. It's basically singers participating in a cover band competition. It can be anything from classic folk songs to popular songs from the 80's and 90's.

I'm proud of MooMoo, but I recommend you also watch So Hyang's performance, the song Bridge over troubled water. So Hyang is a Korean singer of world standards, she is called the Korean Mariah Carey. Not only does she have an incredible vocal range, but she also has so much emotion in her voice that she could even make me cry. I highly recommend.

@@CoachCastTV and I know many people has mentioned that Moonbyul is the most credited female idol, but I don't think they have mentioned that Moonbyul wrote ALL the raps here in this medley (because as mentioned in this comment , this medley were of a compilation of old songs, and did not have raps in the song originally, so Moonbyul had to write her own so that she would be able to perform with the group during the Immortal Songs 2 performances).

I loved the reaction, this is a piece in one of their concerts and by the time they did this part they had already been singing live for almost 2 hours and their voices still sound like that. A Mamamoo concert can last up to 4 hours and their voices stay the same until the end. Wheein is absolutely incredible, she is talented in all aspects, not only with her voice since she is a lyricist and composer, she paints and draws very well, she also plays the piano, drums and guitar. Let me say this, in Kpop there are very good rappers and there are some with low tones like Moonbyul, but what Byul does I can assure you no one else does, that style is her own brand that she created over the years, she can make a super fast and powerful rap, but that is not her priority, since she writes all her raps and also writes and composes on most of mamamoo's songs as well as her solo music, her priority has always been to create a rap that It fits perfectly with the vibe and rhythm of each song, which is why her raps never feel forced or out of place and it also makes her capable of rapping in all types of genres, which has been seen in Mamamoo's diverse discography. Moonbyul is the most credited female idol in K-pop history with 117 songs to her name so far. When you discover the vocalist Moonbyul, you are going to die because you already saw that she is very capable as a rapper, but believe me, she is also more than capable as a vocalist. @@CoachCastTV Believe me, ot4 is very real in this group, each one of them is going to blow your mind, when it comes to talent, no one can say which one of them is more talented because they all have incredible voices, they all dance, they all play instruments, they all are composers, they all eat up the stage and they all have incredible personalities that make you love them outside of the artistic field. Said by important figures in the industry, that mamamoo are not a group, they are 4 soloists collaborating. Plus they're really close and super funny, it's always chaos when they're together.

Just to add to the above, people already said Moonbyul could have been the lead vocalist in most other girl groups back around the time of Paint Me, but Moonbyul took her vocal skills up another level for the Second World competition. Lunatic is my favorite from her, and it's very much a lyrical song rather than a rap song.

"carry themselves with elegance and class" LOL, yes but.... they do have a tendency to go "off the rails" and just roll with it. Moonbyul is a huge flirt and does so at every chance, and with any target available. Solar and Hwasa are favorite targets. And we all love her for it. Solar is just crazy at times, and hilarious at the same time. Awkward Solar is a treasure. Wheein is an instigator, she'll start the chaos and then fan the flames. Hwasa is a wild card, you never know what she's thinking or what she might say. They are called "beagles" for their chaotic nature. They are known for changing their lyrics to target people in the crowds, especially certain male actors and singers.

I really hope you react to more of mamamoo. You can also check out their solo works. They are seriously so talented, it doesn't stop with just their voices. They can write (moonbyul #1 most credited female idol, hwasa at #11 and solar and wheein also have some writing credits), they can compose, they are very involved with the planning of their albums, they interact well with the fans (for example, hwasa always go out of her way to go down the stage and go near the fans at concerts, moonbyul always writes letters), they are very open about everything (solar even tells us when she had her wisdom tooth taken out lol), they are funny-like REALLY FUNNY. There's so much there is to love about them.

The MAMAMOO members are among some of the most-credited idols in K-Pop as of early 2023 - Moonbyul actually has the most songwriting credits of all 3rd generation female idols at 115(2nd most credited famale artist overall... Yoon Mirae at 139), since she writes her own raps(and more) in almost all of the group’s songs. As well as contributing to the songwriting in many of them as well. - Solar has 37 credits to her name. She wrote the lyrics and composition for her solo song, “Spit it Out”. Composer on "Honey". - Hwasa has 44 credits. The lyrics to her solo song, “María”, were praised for its inventive and meaningful wordplay. My first thought was... Wow! I had a trouser suit exactly like theirs (in blue) as my 'going away' outfit in 1971... although I didn't look nearly as good in mine as they do in theirs! Everything comes around again if you wait long enough! I started out by commenting upon each young ladies' voice in turn, but I gave up on that almost at once. All their voices are glorious. They each take the spotlight in turn, and each of them has their own style, but when you put them all together... Wow! Such a great show!

Mamamoo is a gaggle of misfit toys that were rejected by other companies for how they look. Luckily, they landed together in a company that ended having to let them do what they want. Mamamoo is just an all-rounder group with no weak link. I would love if you guys reacted to Btob's (B 2 B) Killing Voice performance. They're like the male Mamamoo and the two groups were (or still are) rather close. Solar made a video with Changsub - who is in that group - where they sung each others songs. So I'd really recommend that after you listen to some of Btob's songs

I always said, Moonbyul is not just a rapper, she's a storyteller, and this video proves it because in the first part, she's not rapping, she's literally like an emotional narrator. Mamamoo is the first and still the only Kpop group (not just female) who debuted with a Jazz song. They created songs in more than 10 different genres. Also, the only Kpop group who released an entire album with ballads.

Thanks for your review. IMHO, they are the most balanced & individually unique group, more mature & with seemingly more control over their career. I have cataloged hundreds of songs with mamamoo so far, including their albums, solos, colabs, OSTs, and stage performances, spanning different music genre. I've been to 7 kpop concerts (BTS, Enhypen, TXT, Oneus (twice), Kard and Mamamoo) and I can confidently say with all my chest that Mamamoo has been the best concert I've been to hands down. And my ult group is BTS so its not like I'm being biased lol but Mamamoo drove me to teaaars cause if you think they are amazing through a screen, listening to them live is life changing. What I love about Moonbyul is that when she's on stage, she's not playing a role. Who you see on stage, is who she is off stage. For me that's one reason I enjoy her performances so much, not to mention the fact that she writes her rap verses and she has a very melodic way of rapping. All 4 members are very comfortable on stage and that shows in their performances. Plus, the more mature vibe is something I love as well (not that there is anything wrong with the cutesy vibe)

First of all In Korean "idol world" even you mastering vocals like them it's hard to not do choreo. Why? Mamamoo got mocked up everytime in early era. Many people said they only did great at singing bcs they didn't have hard choreo. The fact is Mamamoo choose perform that way. They preferred vocal quality with great performances. Finally in 2019 mamamoo shown up with more choreo and they prove they can do that too while singing. Fun fact : Moomoo means radish in English. Mamamoo are definitely the vocal queens. For the ultimate K-pop royalty, you really need to check out IU if you haven't already. She is basically goodness and beauty personified, and a very different vocalist from those you have reacted to so far. For this Immortal contest, the song Delilah(tom jones cover) was recorded separately from these songs and that on its own is insanely good. There are also immortal songs 2 videos and the original show videos but harder to get past the censors. I am almost OT4 but really I am completely in the Solar System for my bias but I stan all 4 of them anyway.

Hey Mr. and Mrs. Coach. My fave from Immortal Songs was Delilah (Remember Tom Jones) And during the clip the camera points to the 1st person in SK to cover it. But Mamamoo switched it up (A Song about Murder-May not sit well with the SK audience) They turned it into a Jilted lover song. I'll have to say that Tom would be impressed.
