The implication behind this question is scary and I hope americans take a pause and really think about it, because in Eastern Europe we finally have freedom last 30 years and we look at you as an example. Most Americans don't want freedom because most people don't want freedom. Most people prefer the promise (illusion) of safety to freedom. With the passage of time even Eastern Europeans will forget why the relatively recent freedom they have acquired was so important and the cycle will continue.

As per usual, I cannot agree with you more, Eric! It's awesome that you know Tom's music! Tom, Adam, Upchurch, Struggle, and more - so many amazing indy artists speaking truth! Struggle has some great ones similar to this, too. All great guys, and can't forget Nova - she's a beast! It's really sad these days that one must be brave to speak their thoughts. Its also sad that you are correct; this is a protest song in the world of today. In my view, division is the biggest virus along with the hive mind. Both sides are corrupt, and the hive minded exist on both "sides" of that false paradigm...its all an illusion. In my humble opinion, that is what so many have yet to accept, or even entertain as a possibility. The current system is, and has been, a captured operation...by design. We are fodder for their cannons, nothing more. It's never really been about the People. I'm sure you've heard that old saying - "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely". That's all it's about with those "in control" - it's about power/control and Greed. I'm sure you've also heard this term used (as it's also the title of a very interesting document) Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars. This, what we are going through right now globally, is a quiet war for and inside of the human mind. We each control whether or not they step foot on that battlefield in this temporal war. I say NO. HELL NO. Thanks for putting your thoughts out there like this. They are always perfectly stated. We've ALL got to step up and start speaking. Every. Single. One. Of. Us. Also, I personally think it's awesome that there is an established "respect" here with the viewers and chatters. Thank you again for your kindness and respect! If you go back for 20 years and listen to my shows, you'll hear me rail on how dangerous Social Media has been to our culture. I'm not saying it killed my wife, but the psychological pressures exacerbated her existing depression, which led to her giving up on her physical health. So, I'm constantly reminding people to live in reality. But for some, reality is too difficult because the real world isn't about them and they're trained to think that way. We each have to stop complying - stop participating in the very things they use to try to control us. It artificially shifts the thinking. You called it "malignant narcissism" in your Noise video. Perfect. Term. People only want others to think their lives are perfect, when reality would show you its far from it. So sad that so many were pulled into socials so heavily. I think thats really where the collective consciousness began to shift....in a backslide. Thanks for your response. You know Brevity is no good friend of mine haha! I'd like to see your take on Nova' s song "Gang Gang" with Tom. Your ear for radio-ready music, considering Tom and Nova's issues with Billboard, would be very interesting. Great review of this track! I enjoy Tom's music and his growth as an artist during the last 4 years has been really fun to watch. Your take on MGK is SPOT ON!

I love Tom and Adam! Adam is a bit more straight up front about his opinions. Tom, is more indirect. But, together, they're even more spot on. You should also look into Samson.

I really like your reaction to this song. I have said the same thing about so many thinking they are oppressed here in this day and age. I have said that they have a roof over their head, food in their stomach, an education and so on. You nailed it when you said how strange that a song about putting faith in God is now seen as a protest song. We live in strange times indeed. I will always pray and trust in God. Be careful, you are a white male on the internet, there is nothing more dangerous then that, just joking ofc. Tom is doing good, he should do a documentary about the whole process from finished track to delivery and the economics, like what it cost now vs when he started and grew it, and profit margine stuff like that. That would teach new artists that they can do it if they are good enough and have the dedication. There are so many talented musicians out there that cant get a breake becous they are not the flavour of the month.
