i was very surprise you got the ant reference. Not many even notice it. The thing about stray kids they love the word play and the hidden words that you can take so many different meaning from the lyrics with the video. The song is from their recent Japanese comeback off the album Giant. The timing is perfect, there has been news leak of documents from HYBE company that houses BTS, TXT, Seventeen etc that they have been making comments and references in a negative nature about other idols in the industry. The thing they said about stray kids has small they are in height, especially towards certain members of stray kids. That is just one example. Not that this video was because of those comments it just so happen to have perfect timing for its release. Stray Kids maybe small but they are crushing worlds and together they can move mountains and become gods. They are not going to stop they want more. Stray Kids are working on another comeback and their Korean album drops on Dec 13th (Korean time) called SKZHop HipTape. It is a special album and will include all the solos they have been doing on their world tour concerts and new songs. They also announced their tour dates and schedule for American and 8 cities sold out within an hour. The venues are all large stadiums. Mexico sold out in 20 min that holds 65,000.00 seating. Thank you for this reaction and hope to see more stray kids.

The song is the story of stray kids. The eggs symbolize the members. At the beginning they are just one in a crowd (JYP training), all wanting more and doing things individually. They come together as the big egg, stronger and better as a group. Han and Changbin “flying” represent their path of enlightenment as they come together as Stray Kids.

You should really check out some more of their official videos like "Venom", "JJAM" "God's Menu" and "Maniac". They write and produce all of their own music! They are a very talented young men that deserve a lot more recognition! Each eight members of stray kids has their own exceptional talent!

Hahahha absolutely loved the movie Ants growing up. I love this song. In terms of the MV, I take this as Stray Kids comparing themselves to ants because they are able to carry 10-50 times their body weight, which I relate that to SKZ carrying the weight of their responsibilities or expectations. As for the egg, in many cultures it represents the world, otherwise known as the world egg or cosmic egg. When the egg hatches it either creates the universe or gives birth to a being that creates the universe. I think SKZ is using the imagery of an egg to represent their journey to create their own world or universe for themselves and their fans. Stray Kids are considered to be “Giants” in the Kpop community but that doesn’t come without its hardships, immense dedication and hard work they put in.

Big props on catching on those details, as well as the ant references. This is my own interpretation of “Giant” mv and lyrics and what it’s about. In the beginning Seungmin started the song with „People think I’m big (aka. That they’ve achieved everything) but I’m small, I ain’t satisfied with the goals. (Aka. Expressing their relentless ambition and determination to achieve greatness) And then Felix followed up with “Just like a walking ant, let’s overcome the pain and become a Gi-ant” Which through out the music video they’re working hard, trying to find this magical egg which when put all together at the end, a bigger stronger egg is formed, of which a giant is born. Them but much stronger. Overcoming all obstacles, pushing boundaries with their music, they become unstoppable. Taking on the world and are ready to crush anything beneath them. “ Run, run, run before we come come come, I’m a Giant crushing worlds below” (aka. Those who try to bring them down.) Just like ants they’re always working (creating music), and just like ants, when they’re alone they’re weak but when they’re all together as a colony, they’re much stronger and unstoppable. They become a Gi-ant. Though they call themselves "ants," they’re fully aware of their “Giant”power. Bang Chan directly states it "They call us God of gods" and Hyunjin and Han's lyrics, "I can cover the sky with my hand" and "Our sneeze is a typhoon," emphasize their immense strength. However, they use the "ant" metaphor because they’re not satisfied with where they are. They strive for more and want others to underestimate them. This allows their music to surprise listeners with their true potential, and just as ants are often overlooked, they keep their strength hidden until the right moment. This is just my interpretation.^^

Not sure if it was ever confirmed, but I always see the scenes of I.N. holding the boulder and the way his face kinda glows red as Attack On Titan references (Eren carrying the boulder, the Titan marks that he has on his face after using his Titan form)

У Stray Kids очень много личного в песнях поскольку они пишут их сами. Поэтому возможно я и ошибаюсь, но соглашусь с вами, что они здесь провели аналогию с муравьями, ведь парни также ежедневно усердно трудятся, преодолев за свою карьеру очень много критики, обесценивания. Но сейчас безусловно они значимая единица в k-pop индустрии, для меня они безусловно GIANTS. Спасибо больше за вашу вдумчивую и интересную реакцию!

For me, the giant in the and is they combine, like the big gold egg Chan is holding. They are ants (smal), working non stop, but when they combine they powers (you can see it egg have a diferente stone color, and the effects in they bodies is the power fluing in them) they (like a group, the Stray Kids) became GIANT. I.N in the thumbnail seams an ant if you look closely. PS: Hi from Brazil!!!

That video didn’t have subtitles. Only auto generated ones which are incorrect most of the times. We always have subtitles on all our videos if they have them.

@@gardenia3044 There are several versions out there now. I saw the MV when it was released and it didn't have anything. You were left to wonder what you had just experienced. They now have several versions out with captions, and the lyrics are available. There have also been some interviews where they were asked about the meaning. The ant reference was spot on. The stage where they do a lot of dancing can be seen as a tree trunk (because they're small), a finger print (because small and gods), or a maze where they're trying to get to the center. They are digging to find the small eggs (their talents and skills), then combine them into a giant egg (them as a group). You can't forget the awesome line "They name my scale Do Re Mi Fa - King Giant." by BangChan. The sneeze is as powerful as a typhoon. They aren't afraid of hard work or experimenting. They are not satisfied with what they've done, they want to try more things and grow as individuals and a group.
