I love how Ale casually throws her pick away, then picks another one from the bridge of her bass

Great reaction Todd! All three of them did great on this, but it amazes me how Ale does those slides so accurately and she is only 9 years old here! Thanks again!

DPA said in an interview with Allison Hagendorf (you should see it if you have a moment) that Muse told them they had seen their early covers in Liceo and this one in the cave and loved it. That was when they invited TW to open for them in Europe after being impressed by them opening in Mexico. DPA were honored to open for the band they've loved since childhood. They'd hope they could get a photo and say to Muse, but already on the first night opening for Muse, they were invited to join them after the show, and they were blowned away.

And on the post party after the last (4th) show, Muse asked if they wanted to open for them for 9 shows in the UK and Europe.

awesome video! Just wanted to point out that Pau had actually been doing double kick much longer than this, and never uses two kick drums but uses a double kick drum pedal pair on the single kick drum. In your video, throughout that cool breakdown with the incredibly difficult drum section in it (roughly 9:30 starting in your video), Pau's doing double kick, and you can see when the camera jumps back from overhead to front facing you can see that she's doing full on 16ths double kick still at that point and watch her left foot going. She did double kick almost from day one on drums.... amazing!

Awesome react man ! Pau only uses 1 kick... (with the double pedal..( I'm not a drummer..I do not what that is called).. Anywho ! She is THE Master of the Toms .... She rarley goes into double kick.. only when needed... and I'm tellin' ya .. "live" that 18" floor hits you almost harder than Her kick... (that will knock you down as well) and then Ale's bass go-along...... I imploded... Then Dany to bring everybody back to the surface !! Incredible Band !! DPA⚡

Thanks for reading the comments and the shoutout Todd! As I watched this video I noticed that when Ale threw her 2nd pick down it landed on the floor right next to her right boot heel, where it stayed till the end of the song! Missed that the first time!! Thanks for the reaction!😊⚡️

Pau's dynamic range on drums here is mindblowing. It requires astounding control to vary the intensity of her strikes in order to respect the ebb & flow in this song. We have to remember that Matt Bellamy of Muse uses advanced gadgetry on his guitar to generate unique effects. Dany did a great job with her Les Paul here. Ale was fantastic with her switching between pick & fingers to generate the right tone on her shortened Mustang bass. She does the same for Error on her full scale signature Spector. Only now she takes the pick from her mic stand in the blink of an eye. The only Muse I have heard is through these girls. Muse, a trio from Plymouth in UK, are their idols. What an year it has been for them so far with 9 openers for their idols not only in their own country but also in the land of their idols!!! Coldplay shared this cover on their twitter feed in 2015 tagging Muse. Manson, partly owned by Matt, probably started sponsoring The Warning after watching this cover & their concert at Liceo in mid 2015. BTW Matt gifted Dany a Manson guitar this June before the girls' last opener at Milton Keynes in UK.

Neat reaction. As other posters have mentioned, TW have opened for Muse both in Mexico and in Europe. I will confess Muse haven't really registered with me, apart from some seriously bonkers videos, however when Muse played Milton Keynes (UK) one of the gigs The Warning (and also Royal Blood) opened for them, Muse played to a crowd of 65,000. The Warning opening for Muse in a pretty big deal.

This was in Nov. 2014 when Dany was 14, Pau 12 and Ale almost 10. Their cover of Enter Sandman in July had already gone viral by then. Its fascinating to watch how their skills have improved over the years - June 2013: Hysteria practice session before The Warning went on stage for a battle of bands - Dec. 2013: We're Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister - Jan. 2014: Back in Black by AC/DC - July 2014: Enter Sandman by Metallica that launched the girls - Nov. 2014: Resistance by Muse

Es sorprendente los covers de The Warning como Resistance ,pero sus temas de rock duro sus riff, sus solos, mensajes y contenidos y sus baladas tristes y melancolicas, nos muestran el gran talento de TW

i say "Liceo" like "Lie see oh"... i don't know if that's right or not but i do know that it is Spanish for "High School"... this location is known as "The Warning Cave" or "The Cave" and yes, it is at home... there is another location with similar coloring which is over at the Victoria Studios... it has a very high ceiling and some baffling in certain places... In México, we don't, in general, use the word Liceo for "High School" we use the words "Secundaria" (three years after primary school) and "Preparatoria" (three years more after Secundaria). Secundaria and Preparatoria together would be the equivalent of High School. Liceo, as a word, means a kind of school, but in this case is only a name for the specific school where the girls studied. Private bilingual schools are common in México, and students can often study there from kindergarden to "Preparatoria" (the last years of high school before going to University). One reason these kind of schools are popular in México in that children from the upper-mid class in México and beyong (they are expensive) can learn a second language since they are children. They start learning English at kindergarden and sometimes other languages.

The drumming was pretty basic whilst everytime I blinked Ale was suddenly plucking to picking, literally in the blink of an eye. Dany lead singing, piano, and guitar was pretty awesome. In fact they all were.
@KansaSCaymanS Жыл бұрын
I don’t think the drumming was “pretty basic” for a 12 year old (though admittedly, Pau wasn’t just any 12 year old drummer), especially her use of dynamics during the verse sections accompanying Dany’s piano.
@don-music Жыл бұрын
the drumming was very complex through the middle section with the overhead camera.... double kick throughout that, and you can see the double kick still going on around 9:45-9:50 ish in his video. extremely complex drumming actually for most adults.
