Curtis, you watched only ABRIDGED version, where fights are keep composed... in original fights consisted of 20-30% fighting, 70-80% were screams, camera panning over characters which just stood doing nothing etc... and they were really LONG. Like Goku vs Frieza was like 3 HOURS. That would be like 15 abridged episodes, while it was done in abridged in like 2 episodes.
