The more I hear 2Pac the more I think that he was such a Genius and seeing what was happening before his eyes but the helplessness he feels is a current theme in his songs .A summertime r n b vibe to this one with the hard hitting lyrics 🔥could hear the Jamiroquai vibes here too. A Great band they been singing facts since the 90,s with virtual insanity ,space Cowboy, cosmic girl all very futuristic songs! I'm a 38 yr old Mexican American and things are not good right now. My 65 yr old mom has to undergo a life threatening surgery. I'm in the waiting room with my family as we wait for the doctor to tell us if she makes it it not😢. This is the hardest thing that's ever happened to me. She had a major stroke and they have to cut her skull open to release pressure from her brain swelling. The point is i haven't heard Pac in a while and I came back to this song too console me and gain my faith back. I've strayed away from God and I've been living a selfish alcoholic life, the alcohol has hardened my heart. I can't even cry. But yeah, 2pac was always there for me as a troubled teen and he's still here for me now. Just like God is and has been. I came across this video right after listening to this song and it brings me great joy to watch people of all races and ethnicities to listen and really understand that Tupac gave some of us faith through our hardest times. And especially sended his message towards the youth. That they can change, that even if they're in the ghetto they can get out of there. They don't have to become another statistic and live that way. Thank you 2 for reacting to this song. If i may suggest a song how about you guys react to "Hold on" from the R U still down album? That'd be nice. God bless and happy new year. Keep bumpin it.

Shawn and Gina, I agree Shawn, it has an R&B feel and sound in the tempo and music. The song sounds intense. You both made accurate comments on what 2Pac was saying here. Shawn, you get deep in your explanation of the drug scene in the Ghettos even involving politics, and Gina is right that it is overwhelming for those struggling on the streets. You are right Shawn, everybody believes in something, and we know the most important thing is to believe on the Lord Jesus, the Gospel of Christ which is the only true way to Heaven. And to imagine he died at 25 and made a lot of his best songs before that. Ppl put Pac as the top artist and ppl debate he’s not but put in perspective his body of work at the same times as the ages of the artist they comparing him to. Jay Z was not that good at 25, Nas was good but wasn’t as prolific. A lot of artist was good lyricist but didn’t have as many thought provoking music.
