I am spanish and I dont get emotional very often. But listening to La Leyenda del Tiempo always makes me shed a tear. Camaron's voice singing Lorca's poetry is too much for me. Two of our biggest legends ever in Spain.

I am andalousian. La leyenda del tiempo is a flamenco Master piece. The lyrics is a Federico García Lorca poetry, sung by camarón (the best flamenco singer ever).. Camarón introduced new rythms and electric instruments in a so ancient music like flamenco. He got open flamenco music worlwide with his fresh and personal style. Camarón with his unique voice and Outlook introducing innovation to this centenary music style (flamenco) made a Real revolution. La leyenda del tiempo album released in 1979 and old gypsys after buying and hearing this Long Play went to the shops, they wanted their money back because they said this is not flamenco (of course they where wrong). Camarón forever.....

Omega from Morente its a underrrating álbum.. Injustice.. I saw this in live 15 years ago.. I dont remember..maybe more. Amaizing.. Flamenco band, muslims musicisians, trhee coral voices from Bulgaria, lagartijanick.. In this momment play metal and Antonio Morente,.. This concert changes something forever.. Amaizing and lisergic. La leyenda del tiempo is a masterpiece. I have to recognize I do not like flamenco, but this song... this is something else. It's flamenco, jazz, rock, everything mixed in one song. I have goosebumps everytime i listen to it.

The electric parts un "La Leyenda del tiempo" were performed by "Alameda* a symphonic flamenco -rock fusión banda... But if you want to listen to thevgreatest flamenco -rock fusión you should listen "Abre la Puerta" by TRIANA

The record company got Entre dos aguas on the radio. That made it popular. Paco has got a pile of songs which I can't help thinking are just better on every aspect, except maybe as background music for dinner. If you listen to La Barrosa remastered 2014 here on youtube for instance, there's no way it doesn't blow it out of the water.

Shawn and Trey, You are right when you say you are stretching your horizons. This is a different triple shot. I thought the first has very good percussion and instrumentation and flamenco guitar. The second song, an instrumental has nice guitar and percussion and tempo. That is pretty good music.You guys are right that the pace shifted and picked up. The third song has more of a driven sound but not as melodic as the others. Your comments on all three songs are well spoken. My first choice is the instrumental, my second choice is the first song and my third choice is the third song.

"nice" guitar? Paco was best guitar player on Earth. No discussion. Greatest players of the instrument of all styles agree. Ask Meola, or just check Slash trying to play the theme of this video "Entre dos aguas" to have some laughs. You should check more about him. He was not "nice", he was unique, the utimate master of his instrument.

Pata Negra it's a flamenco rock blues band of 70's and work together camaron in this song. This is the most different album of camaron, he wanted with this album try another sounds... another textures... and he choose to sing de poems of lorca, one of the best poets in the spain, he are a legend and the fascism kill him.

Excellent reaction. Please react to The Warning. They're a rock band from Mexico. 3 sisters (20, 18 and 15 yrs old). They started playing music very young and became a band when they we're 13, 11 and 8 yrs old. They write their own songs and most of them are in English. They have a dynamic sound.
