Hi from France! Great reaction! I am writing to you in English, as you have put subtitles in this language I assume that you understand it. And I don't know if one of you speaks French. First, I congratulate you for doing your research before making your videos. I give you below a compilation of information, among them, therefore, there is some that you already know. Diana uses many vocal techniques rarely used in pop music (like overtones, yodel, and some from classical singing....). The one that seems to amaze people the most is polyphonic voice. The root notes are enriched with powerful harmonics which can give the impression that there are several overlapping voices or an artificial effect which gives this result. This technique is used in Slavic folk music, like Bulgarian vocal groups or artists like Pelageya, the Russian folk diva. I cannot tell you exactly how these artists achieve this result, I was just told that it is linked to the simultaneous use of the different resonators of the human body and that such a mastery of the voice and of the breath with such a fluidity requires years of work, Diana has been singing on stage and has been taking singing and performing arts lessons since the age of 6! This broadcast is "You're Great!" ("You are Super"), a song contest reserved for children who have had a difficult start in life. Ciao ragazze..ancora non avete visto e sentito nulla.. Diana ha una voce unica ed un potenziale artistico e di interpretazione strabiliante. Di suo c'è ancora poco, potrete trovare per lo più cover, ma credetemi, da restare a bocca aperta! Cercate Rechenka e Human, ma il suo cavallo di battaglia è la canzone Francese che poi è quella che i giudici gli chiesero come secondo pezzo "Derniere dance". La prima che presentò fu un allegrissimo pezzo cantato in modalità Yodl (inventato in Germania se non erro), che anche se divertì tantissimo e piacque a tutti, rivelando delle capacità canore in quello stile incredibile, in quel contesto e con una agguerrita concorrenza non fu sufficiente per passare il turno, mentre l'altro pezzo stregò i giudici. C'è un'altro pezzo sempre in Francese meraviglioso in cui viene accompagnata al piano dal maestro Igor Krutoy (il giudice pelato che tra l'altro accompagna e scrive tantissimo per Dimash. Si chiama Tombee la neige. 🖐️. Salvo, Torino

Diana was 15 years old here. Diana just released an original song called "Happiness" on March 26th if you want to hear something recent and original. It's in Russian but it's on her official KZbin site with good working subtitles. Diana does not block aggressively like the Russian TV station she performed on in this show. She sings a French song called Derniere Danse & has around a quarter of a billion views combined (in multiple performances)...Human, Rechenka, Blizzard and many others are very impressive as well. Her dark, rich powerful lower register is a one of a kind sound. She's very unique. She's been my favorite singer the last couple of years.

Shes from a small territory of far eastern Russia. She was abused by her mother and others as a child, left at a bus stop suffering with a broken collar bone at night in the Russian winter. Here are three reasons why Diana doesn't sound human. First, she is a dramatic contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. It is a gift from God, and others have called it the Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time.
