Garn is a genius. His tradie stuff is legendary. As you say, he's better than a documentary in capturing culture. I suspect his chosen name is - "Go and get f....d", - with all but the first four letters chopped off, and said quickly in Bogan-speak. (Or am I reading too much into it?)

Yep we live near an industrial area and our local servo is always full of tradies buying pies and coffee. Really expensive pies and really shite coffee...... but still they come. Probably similar to the UK, the snacks at a servo are 2 or 3 times the price of buying them in the supermarket.

Over my life I’ve prob used the servo toilets maybe 8 times especially when I lived up north with 4 or more hours between reasonable towns and EVERY time I’ve gone through an existential crisis before during and afterwards … insert shudder here.

I’m glad to see you’re going down this path for your reactions. Garn and Superwog are both awesome. I’m Australian and find them hilarious. Superwog pushes boundaries many wouldn’t and they don’t care who they offend with their skits. Garn is totally different but is great too.
