Melodifestivalen is Sweden's selection competition for the Eurovision Song Contest. Melodifestivalen (Swedish National final for Eurovision) had Grotesco do a the interval act. This was 2009 and Eurovision was held in Russia. Every semi-final they sang different arrangements (trally bad ones) of their song Tingaling. For the final they went to "Russia" to convince the Russian mob of letting a famous Russian singer sing the song. BWO (Bodies Without Organs). Was a popular Swedish discogroup. Participated in Melodifestivalen (Qualification for Eurovision Song Contest) at several occasions . Songs like ......"Lay Your Love On Me" , "Temple of Love" , "Saý I Love You" - They were close but never qualified for Eurovision

Parlamentet is a show that has been running on Swedish TV4 for since the 1990s. You should find many episodes on KZbin.

Dorsin is a variant of a carigde on rail, normally called Dressin but a Dressin is covered by a detachable cloth cover. The Dorsin is covered by a coupe entire in wood and has a Dorr. Hence the name Dorsin.

Tingeling (goes to russia) the full version, may be one of the very best things ever made on TV, anywhere. Its on youtube, but be sure to watch the full version where they also go to russia (the 7 minutes version, not just the song 4 min version). It is from the swedish melodifestivalen (swedish qualifier for eurovision). During each voting pause (for several episodes) they made a different song which was always about "tingeling". In the final, they go to russia (which would also be the place of that years's eurovision were to be held). And it was just great humor and great performance (with yet another "tingeling" song but different style of music every time). Had they been part of the competion, and in russia too, the (final) song itself would probably have won the whole thing in eurovision. But it was just great entertainment during the votimg pause in the swedish final of melodifestivalen that year. Russia got upset.

That is the one. It is not translated into English but since they go to Russia, they speak alot of English, and the song is in English too. You will understand most of it. You have been warned (some, including me, think it is extremely good, what they did there)

So the Parlament is basically comedians in teams, improvising. The blue represents the right wings and the red represents the left wing. They joke about mostly local news and politics that has happened during the week. And at the end of the show the audience votes for who they liked the most, red or blue, and that team comes back next week while the other is replaced. So there is always new people each episode and the host gives them different themes and challenges to improvise too each time.

Many swedish words actually comes from german. Lots of new words, related to trade, crafts and city life, were incorporated into Swedish, but German also changed the word formation and inflectional system. The most profound impact on Swedish vocabulary came from Low German during the Hanseatic period. German merchants settled in many Nordic cities, and the German loans are therefore primarily linked to urban life and politics.

There is plenty of information about "Parlamentet" on Wikipedia if you switch to Swedish language. You can then simply use google-translate on the pages. Apparently it has been running for 35 seasons so there is a lot of it. There seem to be a complete list of which comedians are in what episodes so if you find favourites that might be a way to find more of them. I'm not sure to what extent the episodes are available anywhere for free though or to what extent there are subtitles.

If you remember the Grotesco-video you wath with the song Bögarnas fel (the gays fault), Henrik is the one singing it :) Per is also in it. Melodifestivalen is swedens national selection-show for eurovision:) It takes forever in my opinion but this show runs for 6 weeks.. every Saturday. We recently finished it so finally we have our artist ready. Two twin brothers from norway Marcus and Martinus. :)

Parlamentet is scripted, at least to an extent, it was a weekly show that aired for 20 or so years. It's inspired by a British TV show if I'm not mistaken

The winner of Melodifestivalen is always Sweden’s contribution to Eurovision every year. Grotesco (including Henry Dorsin) entered with the song ”tingeling” (and old upbeat tune) and remixed it (changed it completely) into a steriotypically Russian song, basically making fun of Russia a little bit, but only in a bantery sort of way. The Russian embassy took it seriously though and issued an official statement condemning the song. Btw, Eurovision was hosted by Russia that year, so if Grotesco had won Melfest, they’d have to play it in Moscow. Edit: It seems I was a bit misinformed, please check the replies for more accurate information.

Were they meat a rushian mafia for the song idea beforehand, were they negotiated it in excange for a tedybere one of them was wearing on the head like a rushianhat.- (Becouse aparently all rushians wear a rushianhat so he needed a "furrhat" to.) -Becouse the operasinger wanted the bear on his head. That don't stund so seriouse naw, dose it? 😹

It was an interval act. So never any chance to "win" Melodifestivalen as it wasn't a contestant. But the Russian embassy did indeed release a statement that it was a stereotypical depiction of Russia and not accurate and demanded an apology.
