Petra are incredible. I've worked with them in Belfast Northern Ireland 4 times during their European tours. John Schlitt the singer here famously fronted Mid American Rockers Head East in the 70's and early 80s before becoming a Christian and Joining Petra in 86. Greg X Volz was the original Petra vocalist, also an amazing singer

Greg Hough was the original vocalist for Petra when they started off, followed by Grex X Volz, followed by John Schlitt

@@aaronherbison7316 Bob founded the band and wrote the songs and played guitar, but Greg Hough was the original vocalist found by Bob

I grew up on Petra and still love them. They are great musicians and great vocals. I got to see them back in the 90's at Disneyland!

Just saw them last month on The Best for Last tour. 74-year old Bob Hartman still rocks just as hard today as ever.

Bob's guitar is in drop 'D' tuning for the whole album. He is a master riff writer. He has heavily influenced my guitar playing
