Reaction to Pokemon Legends Kalos ZA XY EFG QRS

Today, The Pokémon Company group revealed Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a new video game, during a special Pokémon Presents video presentation. Streamed online to fans around the world on Pokémon Day - the annual fan-focused pop-culture holiday celebrating the launch of the original Pokémon video games on Feb. 27, 1996 - the presentation unveiled a slate of new experiences coming soon to the franchise.
Highlights include the announcement of a new video game, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch™ family of systems worldwide in 2025, and Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, a new app featuring a digital card collection - including “immersive cards” - arriving later in 2024. Details about these new titles as well as celebrations for the upcoming U.S. launch of “Pokémon Horizons: The Series” are below:

My favorite part about kalos is the beauty of the region, one of if not the most pretty pokemon games to date. That’s why I’m really glad it’s not coming this year and hopefully they will have enough time to dev this time around so we can actually properly appreciate the atmosphere

I feel they actually heard us in a lot of things. They are not releasing a game in 2024 which means they are not rushing to make this game. Legends ZA with Mega evolution is going to be a lot of fun.

Happy to see you were right about GF taking 2024 off! I'm interested to see PLZ-A, but more hopeful that the time will let them really focus on Gen 10, especially if it might be coming to a new console

This isn’t a dis but you realize the original legends game would be 3 years old when this one comes out, right. 2024 was always kind of an out lier year in terms of games coming out. Again no shade but thought some clarity would be needed ❤

I feel like this is a good thing, pokemon is the only franchise where the fans have a very particular set of expectations about what game needs to release next, gamefreak breaking that norm and visiting the regions they want to revisit can only be a good thing for tpc. Also so glad to see them getting an extra year in for development!

Little disappointed they're skipping gen 5 but I'm sure those remakes are coming. Gen 6 needs some love, as I know a lot of people hate that generation (and I know a lot of people don't). I'm excited for another Legends game, wondering if this one will also be in the past/on a different timeline than the main series games like Arceus. Thank you for uploading this as I missed the premiere. Also wondering if it'll be on the new Switch. I know it hasn't been announced yet but we all know it's coming with how outdated the Switch is getting... if not Legends on new Switch, maybe gen 10 on new Switch with a special gen 10 Switch 2 made along side it

Enfin je retourne dans ma région 🎉. J'attends ça depuis tellement d'années 😭. Je vais enfin pouvoir tenir ma promesse et retourner à lumios city (même si pour moi c'est illumis 😊). Et en plus la méga évolution revient ! On en aura sûrement de nouvelles ! I actually didn’t see the release date till Steve pointed it out First impression: I’m glad we have enough time to build up excitement for Legends Z-A to come out as The Next Game! It stands out to me that Z-A ties into 2 great games that (imo) earned a sequel I’m glad papa pikachu’s taking their time because this could be a game people remember for a while - - Favorite thing about the Kalos region is the giant who literally walked away from his problems for 3000 years instead of going to therapy

I'm so excited to take furfrou to the champion while holding a kings rock with bite, head butt and thunder wave. Mainly because I remember doing that in a run I really enjoyed. Also I just like furfrou and find that build funny.

I’ve seen people say that the new TCG app reminds them a lot of Marvel Snap, which is just: collect characters and do super short battles against others, rinse and repeat. Which does make sense for what this new experience could be

Pokemon TCG Pocket is like the Duel Links treatment of Yugioh. Playing the actual card game is simplified compared to the main card game.

for pokemon Z-A; if you look closely at the A design, it show a little hint of the new legendary may look like. and for when they show us the place in CGI as Pikachu was running and the place is only Lumiose City ground with battle that can be seen on the open area might mean players online can see and playing with eachother throughout the world. That mean they will have a lot more player you can play with. Also, when you look closely of the peoples in the game are mostly trainer that are player might interpret as you are going to play with more the 4 player as I believe that 60% of the population in this game might be players. This are what I'm getting from the trailer.
