I’m from an African Commonwealth country and I’m just getting my bearing after the reality show described us as the ‘Empire 2.0’ with member nations that are ‘poor’ and basically lacking the capacity to understand the organisation we’ve willing been a part of for decades. This idea that Meghan being half black makes her qualified to represent members of the Commonwealth is absurd. Until recently Meghan was unfamiliar with the experiences of a black woman in her own country and has lived her life mostly as a privileged white woman, so what on earth makes a former D-list actress from the US, who married a man with a history of racist behaviour and substance abuse qualified to stand in on our behalf? In our countries we’re all black so our skin colour doesn’t define us, what are Meghan Markle’s achievements in the world and in particular for people of Commonwealth countries? This idea that we need her in itself is insulting at the very least and could even be considered racist. If they want to have someone represent us then they need to pick from the millions of people who have actually from a commonwealth country, have worked to improve our countries and understand our needs.

I think the royal family knew his disability to recognize reality in a rational way since he was a kid. They tried their best to help him and hid it from the public as much as possible. His issues didn’t start in Afghanistan, it was there since his very young age (if not from birth). Only thing I feel sorry for him is that he never got proper diagnosis in his earlier age, like 6 or 7. Lots of people get diagnosed with developmental disabilities around the age, and receive treatments to navigate their life. Nothing shameful about it. Instead, he ended up as an angry middle aged man hurting others with no self awareness. (English isn’t my first language. Sorry with my awful grammar. Hope it make sense)

From Harry's own words William did sound reasonable and seems like harry is not listening to himself. I dont see how family being wary and acting aloof when someone new is entering into the family is defined as having stereotypes and a barrier. Does he understand his family that it's important to have reservation and careful of who's coming into the family. Its in every family of a certain status, he needs to have clarity and inform his wife when his own girlfriends didn't want to marry him for that very reason. He rushed into things and wanted to settle and he played a part in his difficulties that he and meghan faced not just people within institution. He should've have made sure the marriage is not possibility given the environment so why not have the marriage and settle down privately before it got worse.

Not sure where all this about being Head of the Commonwealth has come from. The UK does not control the Commonwealth - it controls itself, it was set up by Britain in 1926, but it has been independent since 1949. The MONARCH is Head of the Commonwealth but has no say whatsoever in the running or the governance of any of the 56 countries who belong. There is NO CHANCE whatsoever that Harry and Megan would ever, under any circumstances become Heads of the Commonwealth!
