This series has NOTHING going for it. 1. Polo is an elitist sport the average person cannot relate to. 2. Harry and Meghan are largely disliked by the public. The mere association with them is a huge negative. 3. There is an ethical issue with the treatment of the ponies. 4. Read the room of the current climate where people are STRUGGLING… complaining while your helicopter is whirling in the background and boo hooing you’re traveling back and forth weekly from Argentina. All I need to know about Polo is that Harry abuses horses. He was warned not to ride a particular horse because she was pregnant, but he did as he pleased and rode her anyway. SHE DIED! I have so much passion for animals. I find it heart wrenching to see humans use horses for racing and dangerous silly games. Those riders are not athletes. My husband was deployed with the National Guard. His regular job was being a police officer. To tell you the truth, police pay so little that him being deployed was actually a blessing to our family financially. Saving money included nursing all my children (which I would have done anyway), homeschooling, shopping at Goodwill, eating cheaply and even making my own laundry soap. There were some tight years! You do what you have to do, and I wouldn't have changed having each of my children for the world. Totally worth it! God gave them to me, and He was faithful to provide... the best life ever!
