When they debuted with SO BAD, i watched it the same day. I didn't know the girls or the company, didn't watch the teasers. I just watched it and guys i tell you it took me about a minute to say "they are my new ults FOR SURE". And now it's their 5th release already and I feel like a proud mom seeing new people evere comeback starting loving them as much as i do

Ahh same! I remember watching aespa's teasers. Then suddenly a link to an article, titled 'a girlgroup surprise debut', clicked and STAYC popped up. It was instant love!! The moment I heard So Bad and Like This I was in awe... I knew they were different!! And now here I am, following their journey for almost 2 years and I couldn't be happier 😭❤️

Honestly, I knew them because of their pre debut Music Circle thingy (Where they sang kpop compilations. Same with Weeekly for me, though for Weeekly I got is as an ad even before I knew of kpop) and I think I got to know of them through forms of therapy ig? Idk but I REALLY liked the song, they had JUST debuted ig, don't remember when and I'm literally SO HAPPY for them. Like, they deserve this and much more

Sorry if this is a bit late. I definitely think this is the case for international fans a lot more than K-fans. As well as having a famous and very higher respected CEO, the member Sieun was allready nationally famous and very well recognised by the general public even before she was revealed as an idol trainee. She won one of the biggest acting rookie award in 2018 and since she was a baby she had appeared on countless variety and and talk shows with her father who was pretty much the biggest male solo pop singer of the late 80s who still appears as a guest on well known shows and promotes Stayc. She even sang on King of the Masked Singer before her singing debut. But yeah due to international fans not knowing her, or the CEO/producers they aren't as big or know as well as they are among the Korean public

The sound for this comeback, imo, sits somewhere between Young Luv and Stereotype; it has this gorgeous raw guitar often found in their b-sides, bordering between rock and folk, but with the bubbly sounds reminiscent of their teen fresh vibe alla ASAP and Stereotype. I adore Love as well, that song really gets me. I think it's something about the instrumental chorus and the slight tropical vibes, but it feels like the slower, softer companion to Slow Down. I also think that Beautiful Monster might feel like a big departure for some because it doesn't sound like their other title tracks, but looking at their b-sides it totally makes sense to me and fits right into their sound. Agreed that it almost immediately became my favorite title track from them!

Great to see you really enjoyed this comeback. Beautiful Monster is an absolute masterpiece that has combination of great elements from their previous bops: addictive chorus (similar to So Bad), catchy choreography (similar to ASAP), interesting instrumentals (similar to Run2U), fresh visual concept (similar to Stereotype), elicits emotional sentiment (similar to their best b-side Young Luv), and great vocals that keep on getting better with each comeback. Just when I thought I can’t fall even more in love with this group, they have done just that with this comeback.

They are so versatile! I feel like they can nail every style and concept BUT their producers did a wonderful job by making all their songs sound... STAYC. Like you said, their 'musical identity'. That is why I don't have a favourite title track. I love every one of them ❤️❤️

It's so good!!! I love how different this sounds from pretty much anything in kpop, it's really excellent. As usual, I adore J's parts the most and my heart belongs to her! As for your question about people whose favorite title track is Run2U, that is definitely me. Personally, I liked So Bad and ASAP but it wasnt until Stereotype and that album that I really considered myself a big fan of the group, then Run2U came out and it is literally one of my favorite songs of the year and I consider StayC in that Ult tier now because of it and the album. I think Beautiful Monsters is amazing though and I'm obsessed with it. It's easily a close 2nd favorite for me. I'd actually do a title track ranking of 1. Run2U 2. Beautiful Monsters 3. Stereotype 4. So Bad 5. ASAP. Also, both of the bsides are wonderful as well, such a great album!

I agree stereotype was my gateway song but I fell in love with both asap and stereotype at that same time. I like that I cant guess their next cb because everytime its different but still ends up sounding amazing I feel like theyre unique in 4th gen because they dont follow the trend and create their own STAYC music. Run2u was good I love it because its lyrics is so catchy. I was just surprised when I heard beautiful monster because its way too different to what I expected since run2u was hype catchy but this new song beautiful monster is a really different kind it has like that calm artistic feeling the song is perfect in its own way which you can repeat everytime because of its calming tune compared to run2u or their other title track songs. STAYC overall makes me look forward to what kind of song they will produce every cb because they are a group which is unpredictable in terms of what music they will release.

It is hard to have a favorite title track in stayc, Stereotype is my fave title track followed by so bad but this became one of my fave. It is like a western song in a peaceful town but their voices really bring it alive. They never disappoint 💕

Run2u is my favorite StayC title track, this stacks up well for me. Gut feelings for my personal ranking would be 1) Run2U 2) So Bad 3) Beautiful Monster 4) ASAP 5) Stereotype It does seem like there are very distinct StayC fans in terms of Run2U vs ASAP fans.
