Reaction to "Terrified" Movie - Yes, it was messed up!

I see that everyone has already recommended When Evil Lurks. I never get jump scared, but that one made me jump twice. Same comment as yours, the jump scares are genuinely done well (no music, no loud crashes). Great reaction.

My guesses regarding your questions at the end: - the mom committed suicide to 'join' her son in what she thought was the afterlife, even though he was probably just reanimated by the cross-dimensional water stuff. Maybe she was also influenced psychologically since probably everyone in the neighborhood drank the same water. - that man that was living alone was probably grabbed by the creature from his bed/wardrobe and carried back into another dimension or a place between dimensions. Presumably he became another monster. - burning the house might indeed have gotten rid of the little boy but then again we're talking paranormal cross-dimensional stuff, so for all we know he could have been in another 'point of view' away from the flames, who knows. BTW I suspect the policeman was killed by the eyeless dude. My interpretation is that he's suspected to be a 'fugitive' probably because no one has seen him since. Though how people would know he was the one who did the arson is anyone's guess, maybe fingerprints on what he used to set fire to the houses? Again, they're just guesses. That movie is up for interpretation and is largely a movie of raw impressions rather than plot-centric. And I think it keeps things mysterious because it's scarier that way too.

This is genuinely in my Top 20 supernatural horror films. That car window scare & the line “You still have to save us! We’re being tortured!” still chills me to my soul whenever I even think about it.

"Aterrados" is a 2017 Argentine film. The director is Demián Rugna, the same one who this year released the best horror film of the last decade: "When Evil Lurks"

One of my all time favorite horror movies, it is such a wonderful take on the 'haunted house' subgenre. I watched it when it first came out and it still sticks with me. When Evil Lurks is the better overall film, but it is not as fun as Terrified. Thanks for reacting to this amazing movie.

Thanks for responding! Some personal favorites are The Blob(1988), House of the Devil(2009), The Taking of Deborah Logan(2014), and Underwater(2020). These are some pretty awesome movies that don't get reacted to nearly enough. If you haven't seem them I highly recommend them. @@lizscythe

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed! My favorites so far have been Doctor Sleep, the Exorcist (1973), Insidious (the original and the last key), Pet Sematery (the remake), Barbarian, Evil Dead Rise, Halloween (Rob Zombie one), the Conjuring 2, Creep, and Hereditary (which is probably my number one)

This writer directors other movie jsut came out on shudder called “when evil Lurks” I think,many think it’s the best horror movie they’ve ever seen. It’s for sure the most disturbing imagery I’ve seen. It’s on shudder .
