Reaction to The Big Push "War Pigs" First time hearing!

Riding his jock....hardly, I have watched reactors goes through all Ren's current solo songs, then his bands(both bands) songs, then go down the rabbit hole of all his old music and finish off with all his collabs. That was over 100 songs. All the Ren fans were there for every song. We all just got exposed to his newest releases off of "sick boi" about 6 new songs. I have all of Ren's albums, (sick boi, freckled angels, demo CD volume 1 and 2, Violets tale, TBP). So you are not even close to riding his jock. Whatever song he sings he turns into that singers genre with his own twist. He is a chameleon and can turn into every genre with his voice and instrument, it is an amazing thing to watch and listen to.

If you want to react to the rest of this live performance from that day, here are the rest of the video's in the exact order of the set list that they played that day. So before they played War Pigs it was: The Big Push - "Who Shot The Sheriff/Road To Zion/Hip Hop mash-up of Bob/Damian Marley & Dead Prez Then they did the Black Sabbath's War Pigs/Paranoid/& Crazy Train/Rage mash-up. Next came The Big Push -"Watch Out" an original song by Ren and The Big Push. The last video is titled The Big Push - "Paint It Black" a Rolling Stones cover, they play it at the end of this street performance. They had to pack it up at the end of this song because the street was filled with so many fans, the police were going to show up soon, crowd was so large & traffic was jammed. Enjoy, Cheers mate 😁

Yeah, I never knew I needed a Black Sabbath medley with a touch of Rage. So awesome. All the videos from that day are great- especially the "I Shot the Sheriff/Zion/Hip Hop" medley. The Big Push does great mash-ups and unique covers.

Love the new wallpaper there, Chas! That wall of speakers would sound great haha! I like his twist on the Sabbath classics...so many bands do covers that just ape the original songs without putting their own stamp on it. Based on what I had previously heard from Ren, I would never have thought he was a fan of Sabbath (or influenced by them)...I alos like the way they mixed in a little RATM to make it even more unique. It was upbeat and fun as hell! Cheers!

Another great reaction. "The Big Push" busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are amazing and well worth checking out. The members of "The Big Push" are all independent solo artists who struck up a friendship, moved in together, and formed the band. Ren Gill, Gorran Kendall, and Romain Axisa take turns singing lead vocals at times, except for the drummer Glen Chambers who is not playing in this performance. However, each of the band members is currently focusing on a solo career due to Ren's absence. Here is the link to their YT channel: www.youtube.com/@TheBigPushBand The band, at least for the time being, performed their last official busking session and gave their last concert in September 2022 due to the fact that Ren was leaving for Canada to undergo specialized medical care and surgeries for his multiple health issues. I believe they did record some songs yet to be released. No telling what the future holds for them, individually or as a group. Their covers of "I Shot The Sheriff/Road To Zion/Hip Hop," "Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble So Hard," "Watch Out," “War Pigs,” “Roadhouse Blues,” "My Generation," “Paint It Black,” "An Englishman in New York," “Bongo Bong,” and many others are all awesome. On “These boots are made for walking’/Satisfaction/Everybody,” “Praise You” (Fatboy Slim Cover), and “What Kind Of Woman Is This,” all three take a turn singing. Their original songs "Oh My Woman," “Swan Song,” “Sweet Little Lady," "It's Alright," “Dignity,” “Watch Out” and so many others are equally impressive. Gorran Kendall is a singer/songwriter/busker from the UK. He plays the bass, electric and acoustic guitar, the harmonica, and frequently sings lead for "The Big Push." As a solo artist, he is a folk singer, and his music is reminiscent of 60s folk. I love Gorran's music. In addition, Romain sings lead on a few "The Big Push" songs. His solo music is unique, and I don't know what genre it would be categorized as. I really enjoy his music as well. Not only is it a beautiful song but the accompanying music video offers the audience an intimate view into their day-to-day on and off-stage interaction.
