Game has some creative decision compering to book. Despite famous two swords of Witcher. They never actually carried them together. But he do in game for gameplay reasons. In the actual story, Gerald usually used regular Iron Long Sword. But he did have second silver blade tied to horse. It was used rarely, only against specific magic based monsters. Due to material it most likely look more like Carolingian Broad Sword. It was not particularly handy to use.

The games are written in a way, that the story takes place after the books (IIRC, action of the first game starts 5 years after the last book), so it's a mix between continuation and adaptation, as games take a lot from the source material, including parts of stories.

She was a vampire. Geralt drank a potion, that made his blood like acid, so when she bit him, it weakened her. You can also see his medalion vibrating. A witcher's medalion reacts to monsters and magic. Geralt is a witcher, a mutated monster killer. Witchers can also use signs, very simple type of magic. The wold is a sign of a witcher's school of a wolf. There is also a school of a bear and a cat :) You should play the game. The games, especially Witcher 3, are just marvelous! You can watch/play and always find something new, a deeper meaning, a symbolism, etc. The first trailer alludes to "Witcher 3: Blood and Wine" which is my personal favorite of all the games in this universe. The trailer is somewhat of a continuation (or is the closure of one plot) of "Blood and Wine" ;) EDIT: I am itching to explain everything, but I will not spoil this for you ;)

Witchers have a whole range of potions - from healing to ones improving resistance and perfomance (endurance, speed, strength, or senses) or regenration, which they usually drink depending uponthe kind of enemy they're facing. Here - a blood-drinking enemy, hence the potion to make blood acidic and thus weakening the enemy in case of bites. They also use severak kinds of powder-base projectiles ("bombs") that also have various effects, and finally five basic spells they call "signs" (that might be very well similar to Jedis' use of force)

She's a bruxa, type of vampire in Witcher universe. Geralt from Rivia -the Witcher got a contract to kill her. Before fight he drank a potion called "black blood" (if I'm right), it weaks vampires and deals them damage, he used a type of bomb go see her. When she attacked him, she sucked his blood with potion which weakened her at let Geralt kill her. What I'm going to tell is that Witcher game series is one of the best series ever created, and also books are worth to read

Thing Geralt drank was a elixir, in this situation elixir for vampires. To fully understand what is going on, you need to read books. Then when you play games You've no need to ask anything.

0:51 yes, at this moment it was real actress (Zsuzsanna Rácz). Btw: There is also polish TV serie "Wiedzmin" (Witcher). I really recommend you to watch it. It has not so good special effects (like Netflix adaptation with Henry Cavill), but it is very accurate to the story of original book and it is pure of political correctness. For all I know several years ago this film was translated for some german TV station, so you should not have problems to find it in german version.

In Poland, we love The Witcher series, but we probably love the game Gothic 1 and 2 the most (it's a German game). We loved this game so much that we created Gothic machinima very often, as well as probably the best mod for this game of any created "The Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos". The Polish modification won the 20th Mod of the Year in 2021. The modification is free, you only need to own the game Gothic 2. Have you also played Gothic? If so, did you enjoy it?

I'm not sure if you know the difference between cinematic trailer and actual gameplay trailer. Cinematic is like it says - cinematic, made specifically like a film just to watch it like a film, maybe tell some story, actual game doesn't look like that. They probably wouldn't be able to make game so good looking to work on any PC in at least 60fps and it would take much more time to make animations so clean, textures and world so precise and beautiful. For example look at Starcraft 2 trailers and actual game and you will probably see the difference more clearly.

Geralt drank the poison knowing he would probably survive and the bruxa (a female higher vampire) would bite him and drink his blood. His plan worked and he poisoned her but he took a dangerous risk. If you haven't played the game you should, it is one of the best ever made. CD Project Red, a small Polish group of about a dozen developers, made this amazing game. Worth checking out.

CD Projekt Red is a Polish computer game developer, in my opinion one of the best, comparable to the likes of Ubisoft. And the game "The Witcher" (the entire trilogy) is a real masterpiece. To understand this trailer well, it is good to play the previous parts of "The Witcher" or read the books. From them we will learn about swords, potions, signs (magic), and monsters (Bruxa in this case, if I'm not mistaken. According to novels and games, Bruxa is a type of lower vampire ;) ). Chris, a little curiosity for you - Cyberpunk 2077 is also a Polish game (i.e. a game written by Polish creators) ;)

As for the games, the plot presented in the game trilogy takes place 5 years after the events of the books. I highly recommend both, especially since The Witcher 1 was created at a time of huge hype for Gothic. Story-wise, it's the best game I've ever played. As for your work, I must admit that Poles are a very complex nation. History has not spared us. If you experience Polish culture and get excited about it - I guarantee that thanks to the Polish audience you will feed your family through AdSense xd
