Sadly, no, they don't always have the orchestra with them. This was filmed at Masters of Rock 2022 and they had the Bohemian Symphonic Orchestra Prague with them. (I think it's the same orchestra they had on the Symphonic Journey to Remember DVD) [This video is part of the Pirates Over Wacken Earbook edition only, the normal CD only has the live show from Wacken. The Earbook also has a CD called A Pirate's Symphony that is just a symphony orchestra playing the tracks.. no guitars, drums or vocals.. and that is divine as well] Pirates is my album of 2022 by a country mile... it's just an amazing masterpiece.

There's an official regular video for "Melancholy Angel," but there's also a live version taken from the same concert as "Pirates Will Return" here. Take your pick, or do both in the same video. The original regular video is very story telling-like.

Part of me wishes I had done both for that. I'm sure that live performance was great, too (I'll check it out). I just hadn't produced any content regarding music highlights featuring two videos. That's changed, though. I won't spoil what group yet, but there's one video coming up featuring both the music video and live performance. You'll see soon...and I'm really looking forward to that one. :-)

Yes, when they perform on stage it's always with an accompanying orchestra. More than i can say for Nightwish, eh?

I'm no expert on Italian names, but I think I read somewhere that Michele is pronounced something like Mi-ke-leh.

I've heard Clémentine herself say in an interview with Michele that it's pronounced Mick-el-lee. In other words the Mich is pronounced somewhat like how Hungarians would pronounce it. Mick, instead of Mish, like we'd say it in America. My Hungarian-based relatives name is Kovach, and it's pronounced Ko-vack.

that is correct. we just call him Meek to make it easy :D
