A quick note. Sending prayers to Toby Keith as he was diagnosed with stomach cancer last fall and has undergone treatment and chemo. He's had to cancel his concerts for the rest of this year. Praying he'll return healthy and strong to entertain us with more songs.

Prayers for Toby's wife and everyone who loves Toby Keith. He will live on through his songs 🎵 that he left us with. He had such a gift for songwriting, singing, and performing. He was a true patriot who loved his country and our military. I hope he's singing up there in heaven with the angels choir. His faith kept him going, but he lost his battle to stomach cancer, and he fought hard. If you ever need a good laugh, watch his funny videos. He made a few hilarious songs, but the videos that go with them make them even more hilarious.

The biggest "discussion" my then wife and I ever had was while we were listening to some "doctor" on TV talking about how women on average speak 25 to 30 thousand words a day while men speak only 10 to 15 thousand on average, and that shows that men need to "open up more and talk more"... And with my big mouth I commented "Or it could mean that sometimes women just need to learn when to shut up"... And then the fight started... My wife used up her allotment of 30,000 words in the next 3 minutes, while I was only able to use about 10 words...

Fun fact: This song was written originally for Blake Shelton. The guy that wrote it, Bobby Braddock, wrote songs for such country legends as George Jones and Tammy Wynette. Bobby wanted to write a rap-esque song just for fun. He pitched it to Blake, and I think Blake actually recorded it, but it never got released. Then Toby got a hold of it.

Lol, I was raised on OU football, and even as a girl, losing was very serious in our house. My poor mom, she'd just hide while the my brother, dad and I pouted the rest of the day, dissecting everything that went wrong and who was to blame. My brother and I are also alums, so that just made it worse. Luckily, OU is a powerhouse, so it was fairly rare. 😁 My dad and brother are still bears after a loss, I had to take a bit of a step back, it was messing with my head. I don't even like to watch them live anymore unless it's a curb stomp, my blood pressure can't handle close games, lol!
