Fun fact, if you want Time Warner to come through, make it seem like you're planning on switching. Our TWC service was complete, utter garbage for like 3 years, and any time we called them about they would have a guy come down and basically say "Yup, looks like you got some shitty internet. OK well bye now." Then one day we got into contact with Verizon, thinking about making a switch. Suddenly TWC was right around the corner, with a free upgrade to a much faster router, and infinitely more helpful repairmen too, and now it runs like a dream. Gotta make them think they might lose your $$$ before they actually get off their asses and do anything.

you could try and hook up your pc via LAN Cable when you guys have problems with gaming or watching videos while uploading. most of the time WLAN can only handle 2 devices at once until its overloaded. while being connected via LAN doesnt hold you back at all

It's pretty common knowledge, at least among Americans, that Time Warner is a shitty ISP. Not only does their internet service suck, but their customer service department is a joke and if you live anywhere that isnt in or around a major city, chances are TW is your only or one of very few choices you have for internet. I know your comment was months ago, but I felt the need to reply because fuck Time Warner.
