Here's what's got Vegeta crushed. All his life, since Frieza, he's been hearing the myth of the Legendary saiyan who would kill Frieza. At first he thought it was his destiny. Then Goku went super saiyan and killed Frieza, and Vegeta thought _going super saiyan_ was the Legend. Then he ALSO, along with every other saiyan, became able to go super saiyan. And he thought the myth was just that. A myth, told about regular saiyans that just got really strong and could go super saiyan. Anyone could do it, but it had been a while and it was just a story. He forgot all about the legend. Today, he meets Broly. Broly _is_ the Legendary saiyan. It's not something you _go._ It's _this one guy in particular._ All this time Vegeta's been jerked around by the legend. Thought he'd achieved it himself. Nope. It's this guy. And what he is doesn't compare. Oh, and also Broly can of course go super saiyan. Because why not. That's just a _parlor trick,_ after all. Imagine being a medieval archer who's trained to be able to fire two or three arrows a second all on target. You've reproduced the feats of myth. Your estimation of the gods has diminished, since you know mortal men can reach them. And then in walks a guy with a fucking gatling gun and he just rips a forest in half with bullets that pour out in a single continuous droning buzz. That's the look on Vegeta's face right now.

No imagin your just outside your home in the year 2018 and seeing a real life goddamm monster in front of you what I experienced was exactly how vegeta felt, the only difference is I saw a horrible beast made of flesh and bone. I wish what I saw was fake its supposed to be a myth and story bit it wasn't and unlike vegeta I only saw it for about 10 seconds at most and it made me want to end my life, I can't even pretend It was in my head because I was with a relative when we saw it and we were both sober. It's not fun or a joke its a bleak horrible hopless experience something that tugs at the very fibers of your sanity because your forced to believe it after seeing it..

he is literally the same size of the hulk trust me vegeta has a reason to be scared and feel helpless. Vegeta probably thought goku,gohan, trunks,and himself was the legendary super saiyan but after seeing and feeling that transformation you learn what the legendary super saiyan actually is its violent and powerful broly was already giant alone but with that transformation he is 2 feet talller. it also is a dangerous transformation it puta a majority strain on the body also can't be fully controlled

That's the new version broly is a different class of his own its why he went super sayin first THEN went legendary Super Sayin Freza got the prophecy wrong and evey encounter from all the series especially when freza meets broly doesn't say "YOUR the REAL legendary super sayin? Also no hulk is a small mf h he's more on Darksieds size when he fights, and in the old one this one it wasn't unstable like the bs new version he breaks down at the cellular level and Transorms that's why eveything including his mannerisms are different.he never once hinted In all 3 orignal broly movies "I think I'm going unstable and gonna blow" he's supposed to have basically an unlimited amount of energy and power and since he's been controlling his energy as a BABY with enough control that most adult sayins can't even fathom so he's basically practiced his entire life for this singular moment.

DBZ and DBS....one of these shows is not like the other....I watch DBS, and the fear, the shear over powering of Broly, that feeling of despair...is no where to be found in super because in that show the z-fighters always get a power up, so theirs no suspense. Watching this again, even the animation, I swear, if it was nostalgia alone, I would admit it...but its not, these two shows share the same name, may be part of the same franchise, but one outclasses the other by all means.
