People place Broly around the same strength as perfect Cell. I couldn't see perfect Cell keeping up with 2 mssj, a super Namekian, and assj Vegeta at the same time.

True. I believe Broly _IS_ indeed far stronger. SO STRONG in fact that it was *his own power* that ended up destroying him in this movie. Goku gathers all that energy from his friends and punches a single hole into his gut _and what happens?_ *Broly starts glowing green and explodes!* His own power overloaded and killed him! Also, if we keep in mind Goku kept up with PerfectCell pretty well, I think that means Cell would've been ragdolled as easily as Goku was throught this entire fight.

I'm not so sure if this Broly is that strong. Goku was able to kill him with a single punch in mssj, with only the energy from 3 nearly dead base form saiyans and a super namekian, not to mention how damaged Goku was himself. It took ssj2 Gohan to beat Cell. Now Broly second coming is a different story, and we don't talk about bio Broly.

Vegeta is only like this because Broly was supposed to be the Super Saiyan of Legend. He realised that his kick and Big Bang Attack had no effect on him on Broly's surpressed/sealed Super Saiyan state, he would've had no chance after he transformed into Legendary Super Saiyan. Plus the only reason he shat his pants is because of how much obsessed he was with the Super Saiyan history bestowed upon by his father. If it was any other non-saiyan villain, or even a regular saiyan villain, he wouldn't have cared. But yeh, it's the only movie where Vegeta literally freezes up in fear. Besides of him losing his shit when he meets Beerus in Dragon Ball Super of course.

Tentativas Perdidas Just because it's non-cannon doesn't mean that they completely disregarded the history and background of the characters, or put some progress/development in their character. I always found that Vegeta had the best in-depth development of his character in the DBZ franchise, and you can see how thorough they went with his background. Vegeta also expresses a lot more emotion than Goku does. I mean seriously the only emotion Goku primarily shows is: ''Happy Goku, Hungry Goku, Surprised(also kinda happy) Goku, and Angry Goku).

Sa'luk I mean he did kinda non-stop troll the shit out of Frieza with the legend. It does show how dedicated he was when it came to legends and myths. He was told since birth that the Saiyan race was the ultimate warrior race and that it was his royal birth right to become the Super Saiyan of legend. So it makes sense how discouraged he became after realising that Broly was born to be the Legendary Super Saiyan. That's when he figured that he had 0 chance in beating the legend that had been foretold by his ancestors for centuries. That actually made Vegeta the only character in this movie who understood exactly what Broly was about. He was the only person with a decent pair of brains that knew he had no chance.

The reason Vegeta is so freaked out compared to normal enemies is because Broly is the Legendary Super Saiyan. Normally, Vegeta thinks there's nothing a Saiyan can't overcome, but the Legendary Super Saiyan is something out of a Saiyan's legends. Something that no matter how strong you are, you can't overcome. Of course, this is exaggerated, because Broly is only somewhere between SS2 to SS3 strength level.

I've pictured broly as the frieza of saiyans, To elaborate, Hes a mutation in the gene that is incredibly rare, but also incredibly risky, Since a persons defence in dbz is based on their Ki relative to ki attacks used on them, Broly is nigh invunerable to physical harm, but as we saw, an overload of Ki energy would easily overpower and destroy them.
