This show crosses genres so well. It's got the overt sitcom elements, mystery elements, the slowly-building psychological horror elements, sci-fi, and occult/magic (and, unusually, the occult/magic elements are mostly separate from the horror elements).

I was waiting to mention this until the description said Agents of SHIELD 4x16 was up on Patreon so I can assure you there are no spoilers in this comment. In one of the WandaVision episodes there was a commercial for blue hydra soap, and in 4x16 there's a joke where Coulson thinks Hydra creates blue soap to brainwash people. Maybe it's just me hoping for AoS representation in the MCU, but I think it's a bit to big of a coincidence. Just thought it was an interesting detail! I've been loving the WandaVision and Agents of SHIELD reactions!

Gods in mythology often engaged in what we mere mortals would consider horrendous behavior. They’re often excused because they were gods. I wonder if we suddenly found new god like beings among us how we would handle justice and behavior issues? We aren’t unified on how to properly treat other humans. What would we do when someone becomes dangerous or scary?

"They're like Vision" ... No, those are supposedly pictures of Vision growing up even though we know he was built in adult form. You can't trust Hayward for reasons beside that he tried to kill Wanda with a missile. He did that he just received authorization from SWORD to share that video with them but he is the head of SWORD so who supposedly gave him authorization??

TBF Magneto being their parents was a retcon in the first place and hardly the first retcon of their parents. It actually for a time was even retconned out of it again. Wanda and Pietro's parentage is a long messy story and particularly for Wanda isn't even that important. The Magneto reveal definitely affected Pietro much more.

6:30 Really? You need a lot of cognitive dissonance to not see Wanda as the villain, even with Monica and the writing itself trying to gaslight the viewer into thinking she is just another tragically misunderstood anti-hero.

I'm guessing you didn't watch the thoughts segmen at the end where I talked about how wrong what she was doing was. I also try not to see things in black and white or absolutes. People are complex and I can understand the motives behind someone's actions while also not condoning them.

@@BritanyBinges For sure. Having empathy and compassion for someone going through something is human. My problem is the show's writing doing it's damnedest to convince us that it isn't that bad and totally justified because her trauma. Don't get me wrong, WandaVision is one of my favorite Marvel stories, but considering Wanda goes from here straight into Dr. Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness, trying to convince us she is anything but the villain is absurd.

​@Luciphell feels like you didn't watch the whole series. Wanda's actions are CLEARLY wrong. But she isn't malicious and it wasn't entirely intentional. She doesn't understand what's going on. SPOILER Monica : "Don't let him make you the villain..." Agatha: "Heroes don't torture people..." The show clearly acknowledged Wanda isn't the hero here.
