Saw these guys a few years back. Pat was there, but only played drums on a few songs. They had a sit in drummer who did a great job. Wasn't the 1st time I'd seen Billy or Paul. But you could tell this tour meant the most to them. RIP Pat Torpey. I had the chance to see you smile & that said it all. Never forgotten

Everything that Billy and Paul do is brilliant, so it's hard to rate them on a 1 to 10. Obviously those two guys are great at what they do, and Eric Martin has an incredible set of pipes on him as well, but. It's really important to point out Pat's contributions to the projects he's been involved with, Pat was an incredible drummer and percussionist and he was essential to the Mr Big sound. When Pat fell ill and was no longer able to play, his bandmates still kept him involved and took him on tour with them which I thought spoke volumes about their character, he was much more than just a drummer to them. RIP Pat, thanks for all the good music you gave us to enjoy

IMO, Billy Sheehan was/is the best all-around Rock bass player EVER. He is so incredibly technically advanced, it's mind boggling. His execution of tapping, etc. normally done on guitar (and thinner strings) is awe-inspiring. Imagine how strong his fingers/hands are!

Me Big rocks but the duo guitar and bass shredding was first introduced 3 years prior on David Lee Roth’s first two solo albums Eat ‘Em And Smile and Skyscraper which consisted of Billy Sheehan on bass and Steve Vai on guitar and let’s not forget Gregg Bissonette on drums. Two awesome shredding albums from these musicians

Check out Shy Boy live. Incredible playing by Sheehan and Gilbert. Originally made by Sheehan's former band Talas. He also played it with David Lee Roth. Sadly you didn't choose the live version of Addicted To That Rush from Budokan, Japan 2009. Shy Boy live are also fantastic from Budokan. Sheehan and Gilbert really plays up to each other
