I'm 44 and grew up with TFF in the 80's as a kid, they have an amazing back catalogue! I have their greatest hits on my playlist, and this track is SO addictive that chord progression in the beginning is SO GOOD!☺️😊

First time I've ever heard of Tears for Fears was on your channel. Now they've become one of my favourite bands. I'm 27 years old and I love 80s music. Music scene was definitely great back in the day. Majority of the modern music is boring now unfortunately. I also got to know about A-ha from you guys and now after listening to a bunch of there songs now I've become a fan of A-ha too. So big thanks to you guys for introducing me to some great artists 😊 Also can you please do a reaction on Raoul and the Kings of Spain song. That's another banger from Tears for Fears I can't stop listening 🔥

Was 19 when this came out. I have the vinyl single and the album. Still one of my favourite songs of all time from one of my favourite bands of all time - thanks for reacting. PS: I still have that edition of Smash Hits!

The hurting is one of the best debut albums of all time. The whole album is a must listen. One of the paper airplanes in the video actually hit Curt in the eye. The live tour of this album was incredible. If have a chance check out the live performance recorded for the Rockpalast tv show

I think it hit Roland in the eye if I remember correctly lol

I love the guitar sound that coincides with the drums especially in the verses where it's more tensed.

One of my favorites from TFF! A song that we can recognize at the first chord! I feel the same as Ty about TFF, they are unique songwritters, their lyrics are amazing! Thanks for this reaction.

At last! Someone has reacted to this - my favourite TFF - everyone goes for Shout, Rule the World etc - which are all, of course, excellent, but somehow I go for this one. I seem to remember that the vinyl single I bought was not the normal black, but either blue or white (I'll have to look for it now!)

This made my day, having one of my favorite reactors do a reaction to this song/video. Have always loved the intertwining stories in the video. It also brings back memories of buying their greatest hits vids on VHS. Hope you guys can react to the video of Advice for the Young at Heart.

Hello friends. I’m very happy with this reaction because it’s my favorite song from “The hurting” (the extended version is amazing)❤. Not a bad song in a debut album. I’m a big fan of “Watch me bleed”, my second favorite. Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) it’s about to release a Blu-ray audio of this album in 5.1 mix. 😊

My reaction is the video itself, had not realised how creative and smart it was. Know the song well being a fan of the band. Also - yes the lyrics of their songs do stand out ! I mean they are great musically too. But the subject matter and thought in their lyrics defo makes the difference.

Another great song choice! Popular but definitely different in terms of tone / mood. More of a post punk sound to it.
