Two different styles, the first is structurally and technically above so much that Céline never seeks what she has to do. All professionals have recorded her say it. She doesn't need 50 sound takes. One or two are sufficient, it's instinctive and innate. But the second, emotionally, and in her capacities to change tone (narration, irony, sadness, anger, a capella, etc.) in a quarter of a second is of a higher rank. People always want to compare them when, in essence, they are, each in their field, incomparable.

FIRST Le Blues du businessman is a song by Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon, featured in the rock opera "Starmania" and released in 1978. Its original performers was Claude Dubois a Quebec singer, guitarist and singer-songwriter, his version is just as beautiful and hit different than céline version. The best punchline of this song is "J'aurais voulu être anachiste et vivre comme un milionnaire (I would have liked to be an anachist and live like a millionaire)". It's the whole paradox of the artist from a working class background and who became a huge star that is expressed here. Between demagogy assumed by the expression, in the songs we perform, of the defense of the working-class background from which we come, printing the harsh criticism on these leaders, these exploiters who live in opulence and are disconnected from the little people everyday's life, and on the other side, our own dream of success achieved, the easy life, now. This paradox is only conceivable in the artist's profession, precisely.
