FIRST Le Blues du businessman is a song by Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon, featured in the rock opera "Starmania" and released in 1978. Its original performers was Claude Dubois a Quebec singer, guitarist and singer-songwriter, his version is just as beautiful and hit different than céline version. This Céline's concert was a blast I think this concert was broadcast on TV and I think I recorded on video cassette. How old I am .😱

Hi ! This song is from the fanco-quebecois musical Starmania. You should check other songs from it , it’s amazing ! It was written by Luc Plamondon and Michel Berger (famous french singer) and this song was sung by Daniel Balavoine (you have some videos with his songs). You are maybe familiar with other songs from this musical since it was translated into a full album in english (Tycoon) with Cindy Lauper and a lot of famous singer.

This version is powerful but I prefer Lara Fabian's, more nuanced (as usual). I'm surprised by what you say about the sound, there are many live performances with a sound as pure as in a studio, or even better if the record is quite old. Sound recording is cutting-edge technology !
