The beat wave at the first going to flat line is like a heart beat reading from an electrocardiogram. The chorus lyric also feels like euthanasia. Is it just me?

Nope because it says pahinga muna which is rest For Now. We say that to our tired, hardworking parents to rest for now you have worked too hard, let me take care of you now which is a very Filipino trait. It didn’t say pahinga na which would be rest Now which sounds final like euthanasia. And euthanasia is the practice of killing or letting a sick person die. And Sb19 if you know their life stories, euthanasia would be the last thing in their minds. Pablo for example talks about the main reason he is doing this , going for his dream is to be able to take care of his family. His dad is an OFW and he wants him to be home and for the whole family to be together. He said he wouldn’t know what he would do if he loses his family . He said it would be like having no reason to do what he is doing, no purpose without his family. And of course, the boys are very vocal about their faith: Pablo, Stell and Ken all grew up in church and singing in the choir. We always see the boys praying and thanking God.

MAPA is a Tagalog term for MAP, and the word MaPa is a short term for Mama (Ma) and Papa (Pa). Therefore, MaPa, our parents, is like a MAP (map), they give us direction and they serve as our guide wherever we go. And as Pablo said, we will not be lost, because we have MaPa (parents as our map). Wherever we go, we can still go back to where we came from.
