Sadly (for Mustafa) avacado is one of "those" fruit. By which I mean the seeds dont usually lead to a good tree/plant that makes tasty fruits. Turns out a lot of fruits we eat are due to splicing branch site transferance which ...is alot to explain. Still fingers crossed for the Mustafa win!

I speak fluently three languages and I can say for sure that translating the same words from one language to the other may, sometimes, take a whole different meaning. Words must be translated in the same context of both languages. That’s why professionals who do this job are called interpreters. I understand the crew’s difficulty to translate Mustafa’s and the others’ words in a multinational context and I think they do a great job. In addition their expressions and body language tells the rest of the story. By the way, one of my favorite Mustafa’s expressions is “I don’t like its face” 😂

That's kind of my point. I mean, I do like it that she is enjoying herself, but when I hear her describe something as "VIP", it sounds like she's saying that it is or should be reserved exclusively for very important people. That is how "VIP" would be used in the US (e.g. "With membership, you gain access to our VIP private jet service to Las Vegas.") I really don't think that she means that, but instead just means that something is good or excellent. As a result of this split between meaning and intent, I always cringe a little when she uses "VIP", and wish she would stop pretending to sophistication while not actually understanding what she is saying.

@@muhammadn.cheema998 That's what I was wondering, here in Karachi we see avocados in this season almost on every fruit stand from a couple of years, mostly imported. But this year our fruit guy told us these were grown here in Pakistan, he didn't know which city or village though. They were good, we made guacamole for the first time from them and it was quite nice :) somewhat like our mint chutney. Maybe we got them from Sargodha then or some other place.

In fairness, most western people would not recognise these fruits. I live in the UK and most British people had never tasted anything more exotic then a banana. I recall a friend of mine in the seventies not knowing about a mango until I gave him one to taste. His face was a picture!

Not here in America (particularly western/southwestern America), we're very familiar with fruits like mangos, avocados, etc. since we're close to Mexico

VIP a misinterpreted term. Originally meaning Very Important Person. It's not the girls who say that but we refer that to things which are better in comparison and which are just good in satisfying their particular need. Like that Chicken is VIP. Very good.
