I’ve seen this movie hundreds of times and I still get emotional whenever I see this scene 🎬

As a daughter who adores her Father when she says "Because my Dad promised me" makes me tear up every time. There is a truly special bond between Father's and Daughter's. I may be almost 46 years old but I will always be Daddy's little girl no matter what!

My dad was my guy. He passed in 2019 and saw this movie for the first time in 2020. That part of the movie kills me EVERYTIME 🥹

@@calebmouse_ Very sorry for your loss. My Dad has been diagnosed with Parkinson's and since he is in his 70's I may lose him sooner than anticipated so this scene hits harder now that my father has been diagnosed with an incurable disease caused by his years of working on copy machines as a copy repair technician.

I understand. I have a son and a daughter, and I love them both dearly. I have a special bond with my son, i see myself in him. But my daughter is my princess, she makes me laugh like no one else, she makes me proud like no one else. When I hold her I feel complete. Know that no matter how much you love your dad, he loves his daughter more than you can imagine. You will always be the queen of his heart.

I’ve seen so many reactions to this movie, and so many reactors seem to miss the fact that Brand is standing on that planet with her helmet off…which means there is breathable air. Edmunds planet was the right one all along.

I think the problem is that after Murph solved the equation and left Earth, people seemed to have forgotten their original mission in finding a new Earth. I wonder why no one after all those years after finding Cooper, they don't have any mission to search on Brand which is the ultimate goal from all of this. Either her transmission failed and only Cooper knew her location and that's why he's the only one that could find her.

I’m a father to a beautiful 6 year old daughter. “Because my dad promised me” profoundly hits home for me. I hope this comment section is still active years from now when I introduce her to Interstellar so I can show her this comment and remind her that she is and always will be my Baby Girl. I have never and will never break a promise to you. I love you Olivia -Dad

The fact that McConaughey walks into a room with where he is the kin of between one to FOUR generations after him of those in the room AND look like that is wild as hell. If someone has told me that was my great-great grandfather... Like how tf you even process something like that?? This is what we're not ready for when it comes to a space faring species

To the men out there. Fathers have such an important role, we all have a choice, will you be someone's hero?
@manunarine35292 ай бұрын
The most important role, yes. I'm just a 26 year old guy, and my greatest ambition in life is to become a great father and a husband. In this hedonistic world, people have forgotten that nothing is more fulfilling in life than to have a great loving family. It's truly saddening.
