It is kind of funny how Zoe was saying that a picture of a clown will give her nightmares when Stephen King's "It" is right next to her head! Also, I didn't know that you watch Buffy, Zoe! It's such a great series. I didn't know that James Marsters was American for a long time, which just shows how great his acting/accent abilities are.

I'm not sure I would call A Darker Shade of Magic an adult HP because they have very little in common. However, I will say that the Shades of Magic trilogy made me feel the closest to the way I felt reading HP. It's definitely my favorite series after HP.

I have a book recommendation for all of you that like romance. It's called The Odds Of Loving Grover Cleveland by Rebekah Crane. It's about a girl named Zander that goes to a camp and meets all these people plus a boy named Grover Cleveland. I hope you can read it because it was very enjoyable for me to read!

I would recommend getting the 7th and 8th book in the Anne series. Although they don't follow Anne, they focus a lot on the relationships her family has in the community. The 8th book is also one of my favourites in the series and takes place during WWI in PEI. Can't wait for you to continue on with the series, it's one of my all time favourites!

I think you should read Always and Forever, Lara Jean. I loved it! It's a total feel-good book with low-key conflict, so it's a relaxing read. Great for a lazy weekend.

I’m a big fan of Liane Moriarty since reading The Husband’s Secret. But I think Big Little Lies is my fav by far. The show is also very good. I’ve had Carry On on my TBR for forever, and I think it’s time I finally read it!! I was in shock as well when I learned that the actor who plays Spike is not British. I think one of the reasons I loved him so much is because of the accent.

True but it was also on sale elsewhere. I pre-ordered mine from Bol.com ( I'm from Belgium) and I got the same edition as that in the fairyloot box with blue pages the sketch and the signature. I think maybe it was a limited edition and they only had a set number of copies.

I'd say that Never Let Me Go is very similar to the movie and a pretty quick read too! And read The Raven Cycle, it will never be over because these characters stay with you forever :D

I'll look for the Lord of Shadows audiobook! James Marsters is also the narrator for the Dresden Files books by Jim Butcher, a modern fantasy series about Harry Dresden, a professional wizard /private investigator in Chicago. It's one of my favorite series, and Marsters' voice is perfect for it. I have just finished re-listening to it in preparation for the upcoming volume, and was a little sad I was out of Marsters to listen to. Joy is mine. Also, did you know that Cassandra Clare wrote the "Very Secret Diaries" (of Lord of the Rings characters) on livejournal several years ago? If you ever hear me say "Still not king", Still the prettiest", or anything about hobbit fanciers, it's from this (ancient, for the internet) reference.

The abandoned amusement park was my favorite part of Kill All Happies. It wasn't scary at all haha. I did a review on the book, although it wasn't my favorite it was entertaining! Love those Hogwarts collection books. So pretty!!! I would not go so far as calling Darker Shade of Magic as adult HP. It was goo though and I really enjoyed the world we got to go to!
