I almost forgot 2100 was owned by the CEO of lionel for a short period of time. Good stuff!

I bet some people might not of heard of this new but Richard kughn the owner of 2100 in the 1990s and the CEO of lionel trains at the time just passed a away a few days ago

Need to bring it Back to Tacoma Washington.. Wish that the owner did not pass away !! Cause it Was So Good for the area !! I have so many pictures and video's of that Train here in Tacoma Washington !! I worked for the MT. Rainer Scenic Railroad.. And there was a plot to have a Train to the Mountain.. Well when 2100 left it took all the momentum out of that project.. We tried to do it. But with the 2100 leaving it took All the wind out of the sails !!!

With all due respect, this engine belongs in the East. Plus, they did a shitty job on the oil convertion. No disrespect to the late Thomas Payne, I’m sure he admired the locomotive a great deal and loved it, but the oil conversion just wasn’t the best idea for a locomotive that was designed to run on coal.

I like to see 2100 and 2102 reunite for a doubleheader.
@maxm23178 жыл бұрын
brian falzon Once they're both mended, it's a possibility that could happen. Heck, this paint scheme would look great on both 2100 AND 2102. I call this livery the "Half-Rambles Livery."

i wish they could have saved reading 2101 from that roundhouse fire, bet epic to the 2100 and 2101 doublehead
@atsfevan02425 жыл бұрын
@@nexusgaming7478 I do to but i bet it would of been very risking to save it when the fire plus its pretty obvious that 2101 might never run again after that disaster 40 years ago in early 1979

In my opinion, 2101 can come back some day. If they restored former Knox and Kane SY1658 (58) now known as Valley Railroad 3025, from the Arson Fire, they can give 2101’s boiler some repair, and in a few years she can come back to life!

Back when two Reading T-1s were operational at the same time post-Rambles. It'll be happening again soon actually.
