13:07 The death of Dumbledore really made me depressed as Dumbledore was one of my fav characters in the Harry Potter film..But ppl say that Dumbledore probably transfigured himself into phoenix before falling form the astronomy tower…
@brendan986818 күн бұрын
Nope, sadly Dumbledore 100% died. The curse from the ring was already killing him and a crucial part of his plan was for himself to be killed. He was hit by the killing curse before he fell and they later buried his body, everyone recognized it as him and that he was assuredly dead. His headmaster portrait at the end of the books confirms without a doubt that he died. If he was still alive there would’ve been nothing on earth that would’ve stopped him from showing up to help protect the students. Fawkes flying off at the end of Half Blood Prince wasn’t Dumbledore being an animagus or transfiguring himself into a Phoenix somehow. Was simply that his friend was dead, so he had no reason to stay.
@lilmansdiary635318 күн бұрын
@brendan9868 Well I said that some people say that not all.Also if u go in the details and see the killing curse that struck Dumbledore,it was blue and not green which means it could be another spell.Maybe the director and makers of the movie wanted to keep this story a fan fiction.So yeah there's still a point that Dumbledore is alive.But not saying that you are wrong you are absolutely correct but keeping the points in mind,I think it's best to assume that the death of Dumbledore was quite a mystery.
@brendan986818 күн бұрын
in the books the scene is described as a “green flash” it was nothing more or less than a typical killing curse. The bluish tinge was a movie only invention and more of a stylistic choice as the entire scene has a bit of a bluish filter on it.
@lilmansdiary635318 күн бұрын
@@brendan9868 Yea well,the makers could have wanted to make it a mystery.Anyways like many Harry potter characters there is a major loop hole that needs to be filled about the death of Dumbledore.I tbh think that dumbledore faked his own death keeping in mind the icon dumbledore was.Anywas this matters fron person to person.

One small point you may have missed in Deathly Hallows, was that, after Dumbledore destroyed the Hoarcrux in Slytherin's ring (the resurrection stone), he also suffered a curse. Snape helped him to delay the effects but also saw that Dumbledore had only a year to live. In other words, Snape killed him just before he was about to die anyway.

I'd recommend reading them again. There's probably stuff you missed and possibly stuff you misunderstood. For example, a lot of people who have read the books don't understand why Harry was able to come back after being hit by Avada Kedavra in the forbidden forest. Also, there are plotholes in the books that you will notice when reading the books again. There are also misunderstandings because people take 1 information and forget about all others due to not remembering info from older books and taking most recent info, I don't want to give the example which is perfect for this because it's better when you discover or question it then realise yourself. Also, just so you get some goosebumps, here's some quotes that may excite you if you hadn't made the connection. "When Harry told of Wormtail piercing his arm with the dagger, however, Sirius let out a vehement exclamation and Dumbledore stood up so quickly that Harry started. Dumbledore walked around the desk and told Harry to stretch out his arm. Harry showed them both the place where his robes were torn and the cut beneath them. “He said my blood would make him stronger than if he’d used someone else’s,” Harry told Dumbledore. “He said the protection my - my mother left in me - he’d have it too. And he was right - he could touch me without hurting himself, he touched my face.” For a fleeting instant, Harry thought he saw a gleam of something like triumph in Dumbledore’s eyes." (Goblet of Fire, Chapter 36) "“But if Voldemort used the Killing Curse,” Harry started again “and nobody died for me this time-how can I be alive?” “I think you know,” said Dumbledore. “Think back. Remember what he did, in his ignorance, in his greed and his cruelty.” Harry thought. He let his gaze drift over his surroundings. If this was indeed a palace in which they sat, it was an odd one, with chairs set in little rows and bits of railing here and there, and still, he and Dumbledore and the stunted creature under the chair were the only beings there. Then the answer rose to his lips easily, without effort. “He took my blood.” said Harry. “Precisely!” said Dumbledore. “He took your blood and rebuilt his living body with it! Your blood in his veins, Harry, Lily’s protection inside both of you! He tethered you to life while he lives!” “I live . . . while he lives! But I thought . . . I thought it was the other way round! I thought we both had to die? Or is it the same thing?”" (Deathly Hallows, Chapter 35) "“He took your blood believing it would strengthen him. He took into his body a tiny part of the enchantment your mother laid upon you when she died for you. His body keeps her sacrifice alive, and while that enchantment survives, so do you and so does Voldemort’s one last hope for himself.” Dumbledore smiled at Harry, and Harry stared at him. “And you knew this? You knew- all along?” “I guessed. But my guesses have usually been good,” said Dumbledore happily, and they sat in silence for what seemed like a long time, while the creature behind them continued to whimper and tremble." (Deathly Hallows, Chapter 35) The look of triumph Dumbledore had in his eyes upon finding out Voldemort took Harry's blood that night is explained here. Shows Dumbledore did indeed know straight upon finding out what this meant, he knew they won, Harry could not die (unless he chose to) as long as Voldemort lived in that physical embodiment keeping Lily's sacrificial protection alive due to having Harry's blood in.

Excuse me?! It's PROFESSOR Gilderoy Lockhart, Order of Merlin, Third Class, Honorary Member of the Dark Force Defence League and five times winner of Witch Weekly’s Most-Charming-Smile Award - but we don’t talk about that. He didn’t get rid of the Bandon Banshee by smiling at her! 😏 😂😂
