Love your reading journal, so glad you shared that, you have inspired me to make one too. As I said, I’m binge watching you. I watched you use the gesso and saw what it did to your stamping. I wonder if you could use paste wax....put it on, wait for it to dry and then buff it off. It would make it smooth, rather than rough. I think it would be good to protect the cover and the slick feel might be great.

Okay. I just ordered Never Tell. I like good crime writers, detective novels with an edge. She sounds like My type of writer. Gayle, You should totally try reading Minette Walters. She's a very edgy intelligent & surprising British crime writer. The Scold's Bridle or The Sculptress would be the best starting points with Her books. I promise You You'll be impressed & surprised. Hi Gayle love your videos have learnt a lot from you ladies can you tell me what is the difference from smash and glue books compared to the journals you make what would you use them for many thanks and best wishes Vivienne from Tasmania
@gayleagostinelli_ct5 жыл бұрын
All very similar and all can be used however you like. Generally the Journals I make are for writing, memory keeping. Glue books are for saving imagines that make you happy. Glueing them on the pages in a way that makes you happy. And smash books, as far as I know, are for putting anything and everything in. Hope that helps. ❤️
@freidagepner23705 жыл бұрын
It’s ok, Gayle! Maybe you should just do mixed media all over your table top then when you accidentally lay your ink pad upside down or get your stamp stamped on your table top you will have a work of art! I wonder how a digital of your book cover would turn out?
