A word must be in a single block or it can be made from multiple blocks in a row? Thank you for the video 🙂

okay we have all this options how to write but when do i choose which thats what i dont understand
@soo815410 ай бұрын
Yes, it's so confusing as there are no rules to follow when you actually write the letter. I cannot offer you an easy answer apart from memorising them through consistent and painful practice 😢. I think the learning language requires a stage in which you scream and tear your hair out. Please be patient with yourself.😊

So basically ㅇ is a silent letter whenever there's no consonant? Like each syllable block needs at least 2 letters? Trying to get my girlfriend to explain this was like pulling teeth lol
@wonderfulkorean93449 ай бұрын
ㅇ only silent, means no consonant when it comes on the top like 아, 오, 애 but it has phonetic value /ng / when it comes to the bottom like 공, 땅, 종

I am confused in Korean syllable blocks 🙁
@wonderfulkorean93443 жыл бұрын
it's natural to feel a bit confused. However keep reading the word out loud and look at them. They gradually look natural, a part of word. Avoid analysing too much in the beginning. If you can tell me what actually confusing, I may help you.

@@wonderfulkorean9344 I am confused how to pronounce it
@wonderfulkorean93443 жыл бұрын
Hello Ashimaa, usually first consonant has a pronunciation value. Therefore 값 would be read /gap: 갑/ without ㅅ. Memorising is not a bad idea but it will possibly put you off. Rather read aloud words with the same ending so your tongue muscles recognise it.

First, You need to learn basic consonan and vowels total 40 hangeul + 16 Batchim. And then from there learn how to pronounce each of hangeul. 😊 Trust me its easier this way as I already tried and learn.

i'm confused for the last syllabes why is it prounonced ggeum ta ? shil da ??
@wonderfulkorean93442 жыл бұрын
싫다. 끊다. Both ending pronunciation is /ta/ as in /sil ta 실타/ and /ggeum ta 끈타/. If it sounded /dda/ then maybe I sounded so carefully not to emphasis actual ending. My apologies 😕
