I'm the slowest reader in the world because I take time to really think about what I'm reading. I have this trick that I imagine myself explaining what I just read to someone else in order to make the material stick. It really slows me down, so I also go through one book about every six weeks.

That's a great trick! Forces that active recall again. I genuinely think you get more from reading an okay book and implementing and making notes, than reading a great book and doing nothing

I agree with ur point of saying summarize the book. I used to summarize a book and post in facebook when year pass by facebook has memories function and that time I realize wow I’ve been reading that great points. So next time when I finish my favorite book I will write the bullet points and put the phrase I like the most in the book to post in my facebook so it makes me know what I get and can make me have the conversation with the future of me.

Hey man I just stumbled your channel and I really find your videos so damn useful for me. I'm going to uni of Liverpool to study Data science and AI this September without any prior programming experience. I'd like to ask considering you are a former student there. Are the courses in the uni enough to be a good data scientist? or I have to explore more beyond that in my free time to be a good data scientist? and hows your work-life balance studying in Liverpool because I want to be a good student with good grades there but I also am intrigued with the city life Liverpool has to offer XD

Sorry i took so long to reply! Their courses are great, they should be enough to get you an entry level job but upskilling outside of work is always bonus! And don't worry - you will be able to balance your work and still explore the city and others around

Great video, I'm a slow reader haha! I've been trying to note down bits as I read, things that stand out to me. My other problem is I keep buying books shiny object syndrome!
