I found Mansfield Park so funny because of the authorial voice! Don't know if that's the correct term, but there were so many instances were I felt Jane Austen herself was commenting on the action as an older, wiser woman who's watched/experienced a lot of young romance. I also love the fact that Fanny is so shy and quiet, because it makes her ultimate refusal in volume iii so much stronger. You don't have to be snarky/witty/spunky to still STAND YOUR GROUND

I genuinely love the changing of the clocks, time change in Autumn, I view it as being able to light tons of candles, put on my salt lamp, fairy lights, and cozy favourite lamps even sooner and for more time each night, to wind down and begin the cozy parts of the day like having a hot bath, reading, watching a movie, baking, or just cuddling on the couch with some tea or hot cocoa. I think it's all a matter of perspective ❄✨ love your videos!

See I love all the candles and cosy vibes BUT I just wish daylight would last slightly longer because it makes me so tired and also filming in reduced daylight is definitely harder!

Yay! Can’t wait to get cozy with some tea and a blanket and watch this when I get home from school :)

I LOVED Mansfield Park. I found how insufferable Fanny was to be hysterical and the interactions between all the characters to be generally funny. Henry’s arc I also found interesting. I think this Austen novel felt quite contemporary to be honest which may be an unpopular opinion. So surprisingly very into Mansfield Park.

I agree that this one felt very contemporary! The romance was very gripping for me

Really enjoyed, of course 😊 I haven't read sense & sensibility or Mansfield Park (not sure I want to now haha). Of the other 4, Emma is my favourite too, definitely. I loved your edition, it's so pretty! And your nails omg they're so stunning - are they gel polish or acrylics?

It’s been a long while since I’ve read Mansfield Park. I would reread it now, but right now my tbr is to full‼️ I feel you daylights savings time has been 😜 ‼️ Hooray it’s J’s 🥳‼️ 😋🍕‼️ I like your new 💅🏼! Ps: I finished Velvet Was The Night and The Hounds of Baskerville both of which I liked! Now I’m currently reading Aristotle & Dante Dive Into The Waters of The World, it’s a 🎢 and I think I should be done with it by sometime next week‼️ I got 40 chapters and 300 pages to go in The Truth of The Divine, it’s intense but in good way!

Happy BDay, Jay!!!! The stream by the mossy tree makes me feel like a little Tinker Bell will come flying out at any moment. What were the years on the tombstones? I love graveyards! I’m only on chapter 5 of MP. :( I’m so far behind lol.

I actually loved Fanny and Edmunds relationship. Edmund was probably rather kind to her than she who loved him. I saw it as a one- sided love I guess that's why I liked it from the beginning even though it was slow nonetheless
@ciarascorner3 жыл бұрын
I can definitely see why it would be a nice relationship, I guess I just didn’t really see the romance and more so it felt like a close family member thing!

I HATED Mansfield Park, I hated almost all of thre characters, I hated the ending, I though it was all so boring and stupif and they were all so... BLEH! Definitely, my least favorite book by Jane Austen. :(
