I read the first chapter but the fact that protag is a kid being thrown into a ladykiller guardian (ik it's bait and switch, but still) made me didn't even finish the first chapter. Devout or not, this kid seems way too young for any plot involving succubus. Like ik it's psychological but, if anyone may spoil me what's the point of this? Like, just reveal to me the main point of this plot? Because I sure hope it's not about romantic love. If it's actually about friendship, I might will pick it up again because I've heard people saying it's great

Each arc does explore different topic like accept yourself or difference between Lust and Love. Remember when people freak over that Chainsaw Man chapter. Yeah this is but way worse, but it does do a better job of explore sexual abuse than chainsaw man.

Read A Certain Magical Index (Toaru Majutsu no Index) manga. I can confirm it is peak fiction (like not even joking). If you want, you should also read every single manga available from the Toaru series, especially the big spinoff name Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun). This section is for people who don't know that Toaru majutsu no Index is originally a Light Novel (still ongoing, this year is the 20th anniversary), it is beyond fiction.

Yeah, and an interesting difference i noticed: in the anime Touma, seems like a dumb guy who has a noble hearth trying to save everybody in need but in the book at least the first, he dont really seems dumb, and a big reason he tries to save index is because of guilt instead of being hero like. The books are better. An i read Kamachi-sensei goal is to have the longest light novel series, so we still have a looooong way to go haha. You can read the works in the universe in the order you want(im talking about diferent in universe series, not the books in one particular series, pls dont read them randomly), but if you prefer a more "tought-out" order you can find reading orders on the series subbreddit and the books themselves can be downloaded from there too.

@@dartoney well the thing is idk about Kengan Ashura, in the booty royale they talk about how the martial arts and also the background of story of why martial art is interesting, if you don't mind spoiler why I love how the narratives some of the martial art is... there's a whole character dedicated her life in liuth wei which is Myanmar martial arts and how her struggle as minority fighting against government oppression is such unique way to bring up the problem in massacre of Rohignya in Myanmar, which I don't think that much mangaka would bring up this controversial topic today.

there's this one really new manga, i recently started, it's called "Dragon and Chameleon", the first notable thing about it is the art style, but beyond that i think it presents something really unique, to put simply in words, it's a battke shonen about making manga, where if Oda was supposed to start again as a newbie mangaka and beat one piece in popularity, it's really good in it's charactaers, story beats, etc.

The anime is a bit better experience for Danmachi, but the light novel is best; the author apparently wanted to make a more standard fantasy but was kind of forced to go the harem route, and that definitely shows at several points in the light novel

Danmachi is legit the most 6/10 anime I've ever watched (haven't read the manga or LN). Every single thing about it is just so...above average at best. Bell is basic as hell shounen protag, but he at least looks remotely unique and isn't a complete self-insert gary stu. The setting is more unique and interesting than the usual isekai/isekai adjacent slop, but it's still kinda whatever. Same can be said about basically every single aspect of the series.
