@@achingjack I'm a Midwesterner as well and Wisconsin most definitely is Midwestern. The Midwest is: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin. Sometimes North and South Dakota are included along with Nebraska and Kansas, but those are reffered to as The Plains, along with OK and TX, so not really seen as Midwest usually.

@@gingergamergirl98 I totally understand what you're going through. I was exactly like this just a year ago until I got proper therapy. My confidence wasn’t even nearly high enough to ask for that therapy. I just happened to get it because I was diagnosed with ADD. I'm guessing you still have issues with this, so I'll tell you some ways of thinking, that really helped me come to terms with my crippling fears and sadness. Hope this helps you at least a little. Now this might not apply, depending on which worldview you already have, but something that ironically really helped me, is adapting a nihilistic outlook on life. So basically thinking that nothing matters and that there’s no meaning to anything. But that’s not something I saw negatively. I saw it as something beautiful, because I didn’t have a reason to second-guess myself all the time. Most of the things I saw as important, really weren’t. This is what I told myself: “Will I remember any of these awkward situations in a year?” if no, why care at all? “Will any of these people remember me acting like this in a year?” No they won’t, so why should I watch myself in the first place? The people wouldn’t remember these situations for even a week, if not a day. There’s never a good reason not to be yourself. Thinking like this took some time, but the resulting “me” felt amazing. I made friends with people, that I wouldn’t even have dared to be in the same room with. Walking around in public didn’t feel like a nightmare anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still an introvert. I still struggle to talk to people. But I don’t fear it anymore, no matter what might happen. There was this thought engraved in my brain, telling me I owed the world staying quiet and never make even one mistake. But the world doesn’t care your sacrificing yourself for it. Think about it, the world even hardly cares about the actual troublemakers. And let me tell you something, nobody likes a perfect person. You aren’t perfect, and you should never try to be. The things you hate about yourself are things that make you a lovable person. Everybody can be loved if you know them enough. My mind fought back when I was trying to better myself. It’s just something our brains do, they always try to prove themselves right. My brain didn’t want to believe it was the culprit behind its own sadness. “This will never work.” “Why am I even trying.” “I was probably born this anxious.” “It’s not something I can change.” “Why is this so hard for me specifically?” I believe we’re all different in the same way. Nobody is born “smart”, “dumb”, “happy” or “sad”. People aren’t born being able to do things you can’t. It sounds cliche, but if you tell yourself you can achieve something, you will be able to achieve it. And if you till yourself you can’t achieve something, you won’t. Even if you do fail, it doesn’t mean you should give up. Learn from your downfalls, they are direct directions to your goal. I’m sorry if this was a little ranty and cliche. And sorry if you didn’t get anything out of this huge block of text. But I felt really compelled to write this comment, because it’s something I wish somebody told me a year ago. Anyways, hope have a nice day.

Happens pretty frequently with Steam reviews -- with people giving negative reviews to games because they didn't check the specs beforehand, didn't look at the trailers, didn't try the demos, don't like the multiplayer community (and don't have any friends), etc etc But my favorite are the reviews of government establishments and employment agencies. That's where people like to vent their frustration when dissing diners just doesn't cut it.

Tim Allen 1 review 8 months ago I rode into town one morning with my motorcycle club, the Wild Hogs, and after an early morning ride we were in the mood for some biscuits. Now Hardee's is lauded and well known for it's fresh, hand-made, buttermilk biscuits so imagine my shock when we discovered THERE WERE NO BISCUITS. I'm truly disappointed by the way this establishment is operated and the lack of empathy from their staff. Hardee's has not only lost my business, but that of the Wild Hogs as well. And as our motto goes, "Four guys. 2000 miles. How wild can it get?"
