Hey Wangari My name's Khanya and I am a high school learner from South Africa. Just wanted to say that your content is amazing and relevant for us. You have helped me understand that getting to a US university is possible for an African girl child who is academically equipped and etc. Just wanted to drop by and say Ngiyabonga(Thank you in IsiZulu- one of the official languages in SA). We love you. Keep inspiring us and I wish you well for all your academic endeavours. I've been watching your videos for months now and I shall continue doing so Wangari. Thank you Khanya Madlala 🌼🌻

Beyond engineering, I foresee you moving in the footsteps of Chimamanda Ngozi and many other African heroes both past and present. Thank you for being such an inspiration. I relate so so much... Im Zimbabwean. I can speak and understand shona but my pronunciation a grammer is all messed up cause my family didnt speak the language around me as much. Now i get made fun of by my family, relatives, friends everyone. It hurts cause i try my hardest. Being lighter in complexion also warrants comments that basically tell me im not "african enough" essentially.
